Actually, your reason is for the exact opossite... It being a kid's show, it does not make sense for them to pretty much waste all the Kataang relationship build-up just to pull a relationship out of thin air during the last 8-9 episodes. What lesson are you teaching "kids" when the hero of the story fully declares his love for the "main girl" for virtually 3 whole seasons, only to have it shrugged off like something irrelevant in leu of a "redemption" of Zuko??? It just doesn't add up in a "kids show", where supposedly they live "happily ever after". Zuko can "redeem" himself without having to enter a romantic relationship with Katara. Actually, he's already done--he just needs to seal the deal by helping Aang defeat his own father (Lord Ozai). Just answer this: Why put all those "irrelevant" moments between Aang and Katara during 3 seasons if during the last 8 or 9 episodes they are going to create a relationship out of nowhere? Remember, it's a "kids" show, and kids have good memory, but not enough brain power to scheme complex relationships like a grown-up can. It would truly be a let-down if Aang does not end up with Katara. |

Having Katara in his life is one of the main things, if not the only thing that makes it all so much better.

I tried to find the "first one", and I can't find it counting just 2 and 3 plus this one, the shipping threads have at least 26600 posts |
