Let me tell you something. Spongebob was my absoulute favorite TV show until around november. I watched one episode of Avatar and I love it now. Everyone who says Avatar stinks has probably never seen an episode. I read in an article that Avatar attracted a ton of viewers (i dont know the exact number) on the friday nights when Avatar aired new episodes. Spongebob is the funny, stupid show it has always been, but Avatar has more depth and is more dedicated to the storyline. |

Avatar is BOTTOM OF THE BARREL garbage; it can't even compare to SpongeBob! |
I respect your opinion, but it wouldn't hurt to give a reason.
Anyway, Spongebob is okay, but the movie should have been the end, since it was the last decent episode. And then they hardly ever SHOW any of the good episodes. Avatar is definately better in my opinion. I prefer action shows with a plot, and Avatar is still a funny show sometimes, but it's also dramatic and awesomer sometimes.

it's just as funny if not more than spongdebob |
I used to watch Spongebob back in it's early seasons, I thought it was pretty funny sometimes but now...omg it's so annoying! I'd say Spongebob jumped the shark. Avatar has definitely more quality animation than SB, and I appreciate that, Im so sick of seeing such simply drawn, half-butted cartoons. Also, it goes in a series which allows for a more complex plot and character development. Plus, the fighting/bending is drawn from real martial arts moves, and who doesn't love that?
So yeah, Avatar wins in my book. Emphasis on the "my", we've all got our distinct preferences.
