Anyone else ever noticed how Sam brightens up when Spencer comes home? Sure he's older but hey, best freind falls for cute and funny older brother? Its a lock!

I disagree that Spencer and Sam are anything like Jackson/Lilly. Other than the brother of the best friend thing. And they are both fairly zany and such... but there is a VERY LARGE difference. Spencer has got to be ten to fifteen years older than Sam. That's a WAY bigger roadblock than just the two years Lilly and Jackson would have to overcome. Which, truthfully - is nothing. It could be less than two actually - all we know if from the fact he was a junior when she was a freshman. The age gap is a lot bigger for Sam/Spencer. ---

However... I agree completely. I can DEFINITELY see Sam/Spencer. And considering the fact she's what, fourteen?, it's actually scary. But extremely plausible. ---

The way she changes her attitude when she's talking to him is astounding me. And he to her... I kind of don't even want to think about it. It's all there - and I have specific moments. ---

Right now I'm a little disturbed though. So I'll come back.

Spam was my first thought in the second episode. When Spencer goes "Sorry for messing up your webshow tonight" and Sam goes "You didn't, come here" and pulled his hand I thought about Spam. Except, now I fully support Seddie, so...

There is a 12 year distance so spencer wouldn't go for it, and it's not legal. It is obvious Sam may like him as she beside that called him handsome so there maybe flirting. Young girls do that, so it's real. Spencer on the other hand would never go for it.

I completely agree with you there, NecroCharm. But I would like an episode where Sam has to choose between Spencer and Freddie and ends up choosing Spencer (okay that would never happen) but gets hurt when he tells her he has a girlfriend or something, and Freddie's there to pick up the pieces. =)

Mmm. I just see things and I go - WHOA, Nick. I'm not a huge fan of pedophilia... but it keeps cropping up. ---

In iHatch Chicks I saw substancial amounts of Sam/Spencer. And also in another, more recent one that I'm totally blanking on right now... But I disagree that it's one-sided. ---

It's definitely not conciously going through Spencer's mind (I doubt Sam's too, but it's possible) - but unconciously he IS flirting with her, and being nice to her, even when she doesn't deserve it. It may be that they've simply known each other so long, and had to get along from the Carly friendship/brother aspect. ---

I'm ignoring the legal issue - because I doubt Spencer and Sam would even really consider each other until she's eighteen or older. I actually have fic ideas regarding the matter. And... stuff. Because after she's 18 there's absolutely no issue there.

I don't think he is flirting. I also don't think it is a brother/sister relationship. He is one of her best friends, so it is not at all at the moment a romantic relationship though it would be cute when she is like 20 if Seddie doesn't happen but for now they are friends, close friends that are comfortable around each other because she basically lives at his and Carly's apartment.

This probably won't happen... but I can see Sam possibly developing a throwaway crush on Spencer.

The only way I see Spencer liking Sam in that way is if she makes him a pair of socks or something.
