I am upset to hear the iCarly will come to an end. I heard the last episode will be called iGoodbye.

iCarly isn't over yet! I think there are around 10 new episodes that haven't been released yet!

And the fact that the final episode airs in November, while we're in the middle of August with still no signs of new episodes coming out, disturbs me somewhat.

Yeah, when is the new episode coming out? *crickets* Like in 2013?? So they can play the finale right before a Sam&Cat premiere followed by a Gibby premiere to provide crazy ratings or something?? This is so sad....they seriously show a few episodes after like 5 months. I assume this is the official episode thread instead of the "iCarly is ending" thread?
This is all I know that happens
1. Carly's dad appears
2. Sam leaves on a motorcycle
3. Carly is on a plane. There is a pilot.
4. Sam and Spencer fix a motorcycle
5. Something about a shopping mall kiosk
6. Questions are answered but things are still open for the spinoffs
7. An EMT is involved somewhere in this?

Am I missing anything?

My biggest problem is with Carly's dad appearing, they should leave that up to our own imagination.

Granted Marc, his appearing is in the very final episode, so to some credit they HAVE left it to imagination. I'm going to assume his appearance has something to do with Carly's leaving on a plane, perhaps she is no longer going to be able to stay with Spencer. Then again, my thoughts are going to the theory of my story "against all odds" in which Spencer's father was furious to discover his son had been lying to him about the money and the law school.

You did forget that apparently, at some point of time, Freddie is standing outside his door with the camera and looking all sad and heartbroken. Also remember the last scene is shot in a mall, as I think Dan stated.

You remember how everyone wondered about what would happen in a mall on the final scene? I'm starting to speculate, as you just said it leaves open the spin off for Sam and Cat, that maybe Ariana would appear as Cat? If Sam leaves on motorcycle and at some point of time arrives at a mall in LA, then runs into Cat, then that could be one theory...

You're right they have. Maybe they could only show his legs, or the back of his head. Don't show his face or anything. You may be right with that theory, I hope you're right.

I think its about time they show what he looks like. For 6 whole years, its been a mystery. Now we can finally see if he lives up to our imaginations.

One thing I want before the show ends is an explanation on Carly's mom and Freddie's dad. We know Sam's dad left Sam and Pam and there's a good chance we'll see more of Sam's family in Sam and Cat.

Why hasn't Dan ever explained Carly's mum or Freddie's dad, is a complete mystery to me. We know almost nothing about them, the characters never mention them or rarely do.

It seems that way. We must learn about Freddie's spanish in the next few episodes, according to Dan in 2010 or so.

It's just Spanish, doesn't seem like something so big that would require an answer as to how he speaks it. Chances are, he's part Spanish. A lot of shows like having a character that spouts off random Spanish when they're upset or something. Goes all the way back to 'I Love Lucy' for that

Hah, maybe, though I still think that chip was a bit farfetched...either way, I don't think the whole spanish thing is all that important *shrug* but maybe it's just me.

I think there are two possibilities for Carly leaving on a plane. Either she is going off to college or her dad either retires from or is redeployed in the military and she goes to live with him. I guess Sam takes a motorcycle to L.A. to try and get a (paying) show bizcareer started, where she hooks up with Cat (who of course being from a performing arts oriented high school is also looking to get a gig in the entertainment industry). but of course before (or if it ever) happens they have to pay the bills so they start that daycare service.
