Yeah, on nick.com, things were settled about korra bolin and mako relationships. Mako has feelings for Korra and they kissed, except bolins was sad. They still want to be friends and not have their relationship interfere with the competition.

My theory is that they were together, probably a childhood friend love thing going on, and they mostly were a nice couple, but two things were really screwing with the relationship:
A) Tenzin and Lin had very different political views. Tenzin was all about the peace and pacifist routes, and sending funds to other sections of the city, while Lin fought for the needs of the police force and generally wanted a more judicial way to make peace.
B) Babies. Tenzin wanted, no, needed to have children, but Lin likely didn't want her career to end so soon.

I can really agree with this. Tenzin need airbenders to keep going. But something tells that might not be the case.

True but some could say Zuko's daughter as well. Sure maybe there's a gap in the ages, however that's what seems to be the focus of this show.
