timeline of life of Sozin and Roku, (how can Nick.com give wrong data? )

    they have the same birthdate and that ends the speculation that 4 nations people celebrate their birthdays according to the season(each Nation having a different season) as some people were stating

    they were born 170 years ago

    AGE- facts

    16- friends from childhood, and Roku finds out from fire sages that he is the Avatar, and starts trip around the world to learn all bendings

    28- after 12 years Avatar Roku returns, and Sozin has become Firelord (Father died) during that time; Roku marries Tonjin or Ton Jin or something similar, Sozin tells Roku of his dream of expanding FN and share FN's prosperity (it has a noble root, but it is not proper); Roku tells him to forget it

    33- Roku finds Sozin conquered a land in the EK, they battle, Sozin is defeated and Roku tells him not to do a missstep or he would be finished

    58- Volcano erupts at the home Isle of Roku, Sozin comes to help him, but his "dream" pull is too strong and allows Roku to die of poisoning, Aang is born(can't believe how old both look at 58 yrs of age, and this seems to indicate that the "avatar spirit" goes to a newborn being born at the time of the old avatar dying, and the avatar is the combination of a normal baby with the avatar spirit)

    70- Sozin begins attack on the Air Nomads right before the coming of the comet

    139- Sozin dies, Azulon becomes Firelord for 23 years

    Didn't a interveiw somewhere stated Sozin was older than Roku? Well this is very accurate and it makes sense. But being behind a curtain of flames can't screw up your face...which would explain how Sozin looked.

    Roku dies at 58

    Aang freezes at 12, for 100 years(present)

    112+58=170

    Ozai firelord for 8 years, in Azulon's funeral it is said that Azulon was firelord for 23 years, 23+8=31

    170-31=139=age of Sozin when he died

    nice timeline,

    but I think I remember that when an Avatar dies, it is reincarnated a week later into a newborn. Don't remeber whic episode it was, though, i just remeber that there is around a 1 week gap, between the death and reincarnation

    maybe, or maybe it said "about 1 week" (could be slightly less) while it searches for a "worthy recipient" of the Avatar spirit

    where did you find out that roku died of poisoning? what poison? in the air or what?but he can bend the inpurities out of the air.. doesnt sound right. i think he would of died a little more dramatic

    of the volcano fumes, it blew right into his face while him and Sozin were running while they were fighting the volcano's eruptions

    why did you click here when I put as title "spoilers(till tomorrow)" referring to the episode being aired in the USA nick and YTV?

    Avatar and the Firelord has been on Youtube for a while now, so, yes he did die of poisoning...but it was still plenty dramatic

    *spoiler warning*

    Roku was protecting his home island from an Erupting volcano, the gas spewed by volcanic eruptions is highly toxic. if it was just air it might be fine, but Roku was trying in vain to stop the lava flow and at the same time not get incinerated (why he didn't go Avatar State I don't know)

    just when Roku seems to be about to fail, Sozin shows up and the two work together to try and stop it. In the end though they both try to escape, Roku is hit by a vent of gas and breaths it in. He asks Sozin for help, but seeing Roku dying and with him the only thing standing in the way of his dream of conquest, Sozin leaves to let Roku die.

    FL Sozin at LEAST 111, maybe 2 or 3 yrs more? as he was firelord when Roku returned at 28 from his 12 years bending learning from Gyatso, Seth and the Watertribe guy, there was no "Sozin had become FL x yrs ago" in the episode

    kind of funny what a huge gap their is in the lenghts of their rule...Sozin was fire lord for so long that his own son was probably already an old man by the time he rose to the thrown

    I am guessing Azulon was about 60 to 80 when he died, so Azulon might have been born after Roku died, and Azulon was at least 40, maybe 60 when he became firelord, and Ozai has to be at least 35 years old now(20 plus 15 as in Zuko's age), most probably 45 to 50 yrs old

    it's like the Queen of England...Azulon was born sometime after the comet so minus 69 years and he was already about 70 when he became king.

    also when considering ozai's age we must consider how old his older brother is. (btw, zuko's 16, not 15)

    yes, he is 16(maybe almost 17, but not 17 as he hasn't had a birthday yet)

    I find funny that Sokka doesn't remember his mom, when Katara is 1 year younger
