She is mental unstable from one of life's most soul-crushing pains: Perceived lack of maternal love. Because of this, she chose her father's way, and thus became like him. But that is not who she is on the inside. Deep, deep down in her heart, Azula is just a sad little girl who's crying and lashing out at the world because she doesn't believe that her Mommy loved her. In short, Ladies and Gentlemen, all Azula needs is a HUG.

Dude...that is deep...i?? think you are right, but she should of used that painand relized that it was nothing more than emotions she could lock away...that may result in darkness but she would not have turned into an evil being

Its a nice hypothesis, but I wonder if the writers meant for that level of sophistication in the characters personality. I just prefer the idea that deep down inside Azula eer she has a cold black tiny heart, not the idea that someday Azula???s tiny black heart will grow ten times as large and she will return all the xmas presents to the town of who-ville.

Brian that is blasphamey to mine ears. If you continue saying things like that then I will report your insubordination to the other generals.

If I was in the avatar realm I would try to friends with Azula. Really??I would. I would offer her the avatar as a peace treaty. I might try to change her and she might try to change me. Once one of us the same good or evil as the other we can rule the world together as fire royalty. Ty-lee and Mai must die of course they interfere with my plans.

BTW Azula is hot, nicest ass in the show.

Azula could someday become good, you know like vageta or something, It woudl be nice, but its not likely.

She's a sociopath. Nothing can really help that, esp. not "making firends" or giving hugs.

Have you been reading Vicki So's fanfic on ff.net, Til Death D Us Part? Hehe sounds very similar. However, I do believe there is more to Azula than meets the eye.

Yes, I have, but that had almost nothing to do with my opinion here. I am a fairly sentimental person. A bit of an innocent, you might say. And I firmly believe that no one can be pure evil. There is no Black or White. There is only infinite shades of Grey.
