    Yo Azula is both of those rolled into one person! I'm sure she snapped Suki's spine, paralyzing her for life, because she got twisted pleasure in doing it and she kindof had to to save face. You don't just come across rebelious enemies and walk away quietly, particularly if you're next in line to try and rule over them. As for Suki, most of you know my sweet theory...

    Azula isn't a sociopath or a psychopath. She's severely trained and does what she does because she was brainwashed by bad raising and a militaristic lifestyle. She doesn't have anything left, not even a true motive. She strictly exists as her father's hand.

She a evil villain to replace the last villain that died, she does not have any further dynamics, I have no objection to them giving her personality more multidimensional aspects, but at present there are no sign of anything in her personally other then perfect sadistic evil. Yes she just her fathers queen (chess metaphor only).

    One day Azula flew to Jupiter on her hematode, fliumphing over the brazzellations and came apon a turkey. The turkey was the turnkey to the locker she had locked herself in.     I just looked it up and actually we're both wrong. The medical term for what she is, is a sadist. (Apparantly psychopath is just the extreme form of a sociopath.)

    I'd agree with you except Zuko was raised the exact same way. When they were both young, in the flashbacks, they both laughed at the idea of Iroh burning a city to the ground, that's being raised a certain way. But Azula clearly took pleasure in emotionally torturing Zuko about his lack of skills and was even happy to tell him his grandfather was planning to kill him (even if it wasn't true, the point stands). Those are the signs of a socio..err...sadist.
