I concur. They're both ridiculously driven young people with untapped potential.

Right, Hokai. Zuko will be no more than an uncontrolled Firebender unless he can learn to let go of his problems. However, he has more potential than that and doesn't need to rely solely on bending (as Azula ironically does).

I'll admit that we we're both tantalizing each other for a little while, but your even more opinoinated that Sokka.

What are you talking about? Maybe I'm not listening slow enough...

If anyone's lurking on this thread, can you translate what this guy is getting at?

u told me to work on my speech and I did. I used full sentences and my extensive vocabulary. pick up a dictionary by my good friend webster and find out + sorry about the newbie thing. there must have been a glitch. it said u where a level one

Yeah. For six years, I kept calling my dad "mom". No wonder why we're so distant... It looks like it fixed itself. I talk like a textbook because I'm all about net-appearance. I want to seem credible and informed.

I guess I'm sorry about the Gilmore Girls jab then. It's a perfectly good show for a girl to watch. Is everyone here a 13 year old girl? God, I hate being a working stiff guy watching kids shows.

no mcr's a 14 year old. u jabbed her on her b-day btw. how old r u? 16? 17? 40?! I'm 15. did u read my good friend webster's book? English is my best subject. but back on topic. Iroh says and I directly quote "Lightning is sometimes called the cold-blooded fire". nothing even implied that the bender themself has to be cold blooded.

(Is this ever going to end?)
Anyway, I think Zuko IS better than Katara, and, therefore, even able to teach the Avatar! Why? Well, he could beat Katara when he was with the sun, and by that time Katara had already had her training with Pakku. So, he`s not a goner like some people around here think. (BTW, I am 19, and ATLA is beyond ages)

Yeah. This isn't the military or World of Warcraft. Lighten up. We're bored people talking about a show as if we all wrote our thesis on it.

I don't think Zuko is useless, he's just a poor bender who can barely get by. His other skills are the only thing that he can do well and they get him through any challange that would stop anyone else before they could start.

Why only bend lighting? He should do something different, better even. He actually might encorporate what he learns from other styles and develop something his sister can't beat. I believe Iroh talked about learning things from other cultures, the water tribe, in order to redirect lighting. I'm a little tired of lightning anyho.

ER uhm. No. Get this, she's younger than him and was more inexperienced with her element. Just imagine what will happen when she gets older and stronger.

Of course, I don't think that because Zuko is slower than Katara in learning, that he is worthless. He has many respectable qualities. However, in terms of bending, and bending alone, she is stronger.

Okay. Fine. I'm the one that's crazy. However, my comment was really a side jab at your insulting reply to masterofaeons, who wrote a thoughtful post. masterofaeons was complimenting Zuko.
