Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    The only way I see Zutara happening is by Aang having to let go of Katara (I doubt it) or just getting over her (I seriously doubt it) because I don't think they'll have a broken-hearted Aang in a kids' show. This is just my opinion.

    i've posted this before but i'm not sure if it was in this thread. my friend neisha came up with this really interesting theory that seems to make more and more sense the more i think about it. what if the reincarnation of aang's former love is toph? think about it, toph is the one to ask aang if he really thinks frienships can transcend lifetimes, and what if her blindness is a result of having her face stolen in a previous life. on top of that, in the swamp hugh says that time and death are an illusion, this would explain why aang saw toph, but didn't remember ever meeting or losing her. it happened in a previous life. it's just a crackpot theory, of course, but i think it's that wonderful crackpot theory that made me a taang shipper. ^_^

    nope. too diferent charackter. Toph is the reincranation of earthbending master.

    but it can be that Sokka is one of her reincranations. Or Katara is Kyatzus reincranation.

    true, but we don't know anything about her. she might have had a different side-effect. i mean the effects of face-stealing on a person's soul aren't exactly predictable, right?

    and you can't really say toph's character is too differen't from ummi and roku's wife, seeing as we don't really know anything about their characters.

    Aang is not the reincarnation of Roku, like Roku was the reincarnation of the previous avatar, its not the same person, they are all individual person, but granted with the same power.

    Iroh oozes comfort and trust. Toph and him warmed up to each other quite nicely. And after fighting for as long as they did, Aang and Iroh were acting like friends in the season 2 finale. He's just very likable. Perhaps this is because he only drinks tea made with the secret ingredient of love.

Which I think Sokka probably won't mind. Anyway, Iroh would probably give Aang verry sagely advice on love, whereas Sokka could probably just give him "pimpin" tips snce he atrracted Suki, Ty Lee, Yue, and Toph.

    you forgot Azula to possibly complete each element

    Toph = earthbender
    Yue = waterbender(as in healer, not battle style like katara)and now spirit
    Ty Lee = many think she has airbending
    Azula = firebending
    Suki = non-bending warrior

    Couldn't agree more. I think Sokka wouldn't have agreed back in season 1 or 2. In season 3 (espescialy in DOBS) you see Sokka having more *what the heck is that word!?!?* for Aang, like where Aang had to decide if he wanted to look for Ozai, Sokka said: "Whatever you do, I'm with you." I thought that was quite cool. I wanted to saysomething more, but I just can't find the correct words, forgive me.

    Something else, what I thought was kinda cool too, was that, in The Painted Lady, when Aang and Katara are going to fight the 'army', she completely trusted him. Like with that whip of fire, she didn't blink or anything, she knew Aang would do something (and he did ofcourse )
