Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

    it's definitely a well constructed breakdown, but to be honest it's essentially the same speculation and conjecture that's been going on in this argument since dobs aired. it's all perfectly valid speculation, mind you. but it's still jsut speculation. i'm noticing quite a bit of that "this expression obviously means this" action going on, as well as a lot of "this is what she's thinking." and i still say that whole "she leans into the kiss" thing is a load. her only movement is tilting her head down because aang's shorter than her. looking down =/= leaning forward.
    Yeah, the author did try to make it seem like "this has to be this and so does this..." I just really admire how deep he/she looked into this scene and respect his/her opinions. I mean, NOTHING being said about Katara's feelings can be considered truth, the story isn't finished yet.

    yes jealously and love can exist without each other but why would katara get jealous of another girl dancing with aang? there is no other explanation than she has feelings for him

    I can't think of another explanation either. In the first season, she probably wouldn't have cared or she would've thought they (Aang and the other girl) were cute together or something. I think she's starting to feel more for him, she just doesn't want to admit it/doesn't realize it yet.

    I agree, honestly I just want to wait it out and see how it all ends. As long as the finale is amazing, the wait will be worth it.
