I can't help but wonder what happened to her at the end. What was she doing while everyone else was having tea? Was she in the cell next to her father's? Even when she was insane she was still able to shoot lightning (thought you had to be emotionless but okay...), so maybe she's in some extremely high-security prison that makes the boiling rock look like Mayberry R.F.D.

I gotta say, it's driving me CRAZY!!!

azula's isanity was a fitting end i thought...it was terribly sad because there really was no other end for her you could tell they really didnt want anyone to die so that was as far as they took it, but i think that was more haunting than if she had actually died

Now that we have seen Azula's mental breakdown and the deep seated trust and mother issues that plague her, what do you think might be her future? Would rehibilitation be possible, or is she to far gone?

also, what are your opinions on Azula now after seeing her at her worst. And would you say her defeat at the end is legitimate or should instead be attributed to her mental state?

Her mental state wa at her own fault; she was the only one to blame for her breakdown, so only SHE and the fact that Zuko has finally come out on top for once are the reasons for her demise. Her defeat is most definitely legit.

I completely agree with you. I still felt a little sorry for her and pitied her a bit though. Her breakdown was very emotional, intense and very sad.

I wondered what happened to her at the end too. I wish they would have showed her.

Let it be known that on Friday, July 10th, 2008, a Nickelodeon show made me very disturbed and I almost cried. That Azula chaining scene was VERY powerful, and It's almost cruel how they do not show what happened AFTERWARDS.

Yes, the chaining was very powerful. I was surprised I was that affected. I just wanted to reach out to her, to hug and protect her. My God, how do you even get that much emotion in a cartoon?

man i felt really sorry for her...even though i really hated what she did to everybody i felt so srry for her

That was a pretty disturbing scene. I enjoyed the fact that Zuko was finally beating her,but that scene was...o.o....

this really shows some amazing talent on both the writers part and especially Grey Delise's voice talent. They made Azula out to be the villian with absolutly zero redeming qualities that you are meant to completely hate, and now the only thing most people feel for her is pity.

I disagree that her mental condition was her own fault however. Her father teaches her that perfection, fear, and manipulation is the only way to get anywhere, but still her mother focuses on Zuko. According to her she is doing everything right but that still doesn't get her attention. Then she is maybe 8 when her mother leaves and is left being raised by Ozai the rest of her life.

Follow that up with her only two friends in the world turning on her, and well, you see the result. I don't think her mental state is her own fault, and I do believe that insanity handicapped her during the fight.

Moving on however to the question that hasn't been discussed yet...does anyone thing she can be rehibilitated or is she to far gone?

That scene was mucho powerful.Feel nothing but pity and sadness cuz she owned. Sure, she had her "I'm the queen of the world! Fear Me!" moments and the cherry pit thing took it a little over the top, but c'mon! Who else can fight with fire and still keep her hair perfect for most of the time? It was bound to get messy.. Any guesses on what happened to her after her beatdown?

am i the only one irked by how Katara can seem to find large amounts of water whenever she needs it?

I know right? She'd be all like," Okay, I need water but I can't find any.." And then mysteriously she'd find a drainage ditch or like a water fountain, or it'd start to rain magically and she'd use that...

The scene with her hair, and sher "conversation" with Ursa was also ridiculously poignant and tragic. The way she was SO close to breaking down and crying at this point was very disturbing. And they didnt even show her after her total meltdown.

lol She trained and she trained and then one day it turned blue, eh. Blue fire is hotter than the regular orange-red color. Her fire was hotter I suppose.

Because the writers don't like explaining loopholes... Actually, I'm still trying to figure that out. I don't think it's the heat that matters.
