Scorch (Elite Fire Bender)

Rin stormed out of the mansion, tears flowing from her face,??and Scorch quickly followed her. "Great, now what did that hot head say?" Scorch thought to himself, knowing Fang was the reason she had left. He followed her out of the city and back to the icy tundra. She stood on a tall ridge and simply looked over the North Pole for several moments. She fired a ball of fire and Scorch smiled. She continued to firebend more and more and Scorch only continued smiling.

"Maybe she doesn't need me to watch over her after all," thought Scorch to himself. He felt a cold breeze brush against his cloak.

"I smell a storm coming," said Pyro in Scorch's head. This confused Scorch; why on Earth would Pyro want to help Scorch? He wasn't one to give up easily, but maybe... maybe he had finally found his weakness. Scorch looked down at Rin and noticed she was still training. He looked around and saw a small cave. Quickly, he entered it and inspected it:?? it was completely empty. Scorch quickly ran outside and noticed the sun was setting and he knew that Rin would be looking for shelter soon. He saw a small, petty tree sticking out of the ground and grasped the base with his hand, easily burning it and snapping it, so not to alert Rin. He then quickly ran back into the cave and broke the wood and put it inside the cave, trying to make it look like someone else was there. He quickly ran outside of the cave and back to the ridge. Rin's hair was being blown by the blizzard Rin and she quickly retreated and found the cave. Scorch followed her and saw the light of a fire she had made illuminate the cave. Scorch smiled and went back to the ridge, the perfect place he could look out for her. He gently fell asleep in the cold, making small pulses of heat leave his body.

He was hovering in the air above the beach that they first trained at. Rin went to hug the man, but the man wasn't Scorch:?? it was Jax. Suddenly, he fell into the sand and came out over himself as Pyro and saw Rin kissing Jax. Scorch appeared on the beach again and reached out for Rin, when the sand encased all but his head and solidified into solid rock.

"I'm sorry Scorch," said Rin, "but I need someone who can protect me, and that person isn't you." She walked over to Jax and they both disappeared, her necklace falling on the ground.

Scorch woke up in the middle of the night and saw the light in the cave had faded. He quickly jumped up and went down to the cavern. The fire had gone out and Rin was shivering. Scorch slowly walked into the cave and took a small flame on his fingers and lit the fire again. He looked at Rin who was still shivering and gently kneeled beside her and stroked her hair before walking out of the cave and leaning against the mountain wall that faced the cave.

"In the morning," said Scorch, "we'll see..." He stopped in mid sentence and began to doze off again, allowing the blizzard's snow cover his entire body. He woke abruptly as he heard footsteps pass him and noticed he was covered fully in snow. He shook his head and saw that somehow, he didn't know how, but the bandits had found them. He saw Rin wake with a jolt and she stood up.

???Well if it isn???t the blondie. Why don???t you come here and we???ll have some fun, you little freak???? The leader threatened. He held out his knife, and it glinted in the firelight.

She got into her firebending stance, but it was no good. They descended upon her and grabbed her wrists, and the leader held his knife to her neck. Scorch could tell she was in no position to fight and quickly jumped up and hurled a massive ball of blue fire into the cave.

"STAY AWAY FROM HER!" He roared into the cave, his voice becoming warped from Pyro's power, making it hard for Rin to understand it. The leader turned around and snickered before slowly walking towards Scorch, blocking Rin's sight from seeing Scorch, still hidden by his cloak. One man stayed behind and pinned her face to the ground, keeping her from looking at Scorch.

"Look at what we have here," said the leader, "a hero." He began to wave his knife around and ice encased it:?? the man was a waterbender.

"Oh please," said Scorch calmly. He stomped his foot on the ground and fire broke through the ice and traveled to the man, but the man created an ice shield and blocked the fire. Scorch quickly encased his body in blue fire and created two wing like shapes on his back before charging at the bandit, grabbing him by the face and slamming him on the ground. He stopped moving and Scorch let the fire shield down.

"I hope that teaches you punks a lesson," said Scorch, "now, get out of here!" The bandits quickly fled, but the one holding Rin knocked her out with the butt of his knife before fleeing. Scorch quickly took a flame in his hand and hurled it on the man, nailing him on the a$$. He walked over towards Rin and held her in his arms. Her eyes slowly opened and she pushed Scorch away. Scorch expected this reaction and got up before walking away.??He suddenly felt something holding the end of his cloak and turn around only to see Rin holding him back. (Rin, you take it from here)

Indra (Waterbender)

??Indra slowly opened her eyes and tired to sit up, and was greeted??with??sharp, intense??pain on her left side. She bit her tongue to keep from crying out and clutched at the gash in her side.??Her??torso only covered in her undergarments(bra)??and??Indra could feel something wrapped around her abdomen. Bandages? No, this is too soft. After a quick look at her surroundings Indra??realized she wasn't in Ba Sing Se anymore, and that she wasn't alone. It was still dark, but??Indra could see??the slight glow of dawn approaching in the sky.????She was in the plains of Ba Sing Se, between the inner and outer walls.??Indra knew because she??could see the??faint outline of the monorail in the distance.

A small fire burned in the middle of this make shift camp, set up in a??patch of trees. She wasn't wearing??her robe??or??her??sleeveless anorak, they were laying beside her, along with her waterskin.??Indra??could hear??slow, soft breathing. Someone was sleeping a few feet away from her, laying on their side, back to Indra.??Indra slowly went from a sitting position on the ground, into a crouch, ignoring the intense??pain this time. She tentively grabbed her waterskin.

She brought me here, after I blacked out. She even bandaged my wounds. I??could stay??and thank her, but??I don't need her getting involved.??If I run into anymore??Strangers,??I don't want her death to be on my conscience, Indra thought as she slowly untied the bandages,??realizing they were infact ribbons. The same the Airbender used to save Indra's life. She set those aside and drew a handfull of water from the waterskin. Indra closed her eyes and??inhaled slowly. The water began to glow a blue light and was now adhereing to her entire hand. She placed her hand on the open wound and let out a long exhale. The water took effect, closing the wound. And the pain ceased.??Indra slipped on her anorak, tied her waterskin on,??and??put on her??robe and walked out of the camp, breaking into a jog once she was sure the Airbender wouldn't hear her. A jog towards the elevated??monorail track.

Indra reached the track just at day broke. She could see the??outter wall, it was about 3 miles and ahead the??inner wall was just on the horizon. She followed the monorail track to the wall.

Six dead Strangers. In my quadrant.??Where they the only ones? What if the entire order has turned on me? How will I know? I can return to the base, but how do I know they won't kill me on sight? And why did they turn on me in the first place? There's only one person who may be able to help me figure this out...

After a two hour walk. Indra was standing mere feet infront of the wall, which even having seen it several times before, was breathtaking. She decided against climbing up the monorail track into the station, there were too many people and too many oppurtunities for someone to get close to her. While staring up at the wall,??plotting her asent,??something caught her eye at the top of the wall. Indra fashioned??a pair of ice binoculars and caught full sight of it.

"There's just no way..." Indra said in disbelief. She made a quick outward slashing gesture with her arms, causing her water to form ice claws on her fingers, as she jumped at the wall. She slammed her clawwed fingers into the earth and began to climb the mighty wall at a rapid pace of 10 feet per minute. She could keep this pace for 2 and a half hours before needing to rest.

That level of endurance??and stamina??took years of rigorus??training??in the??worst of conditions??to accomplish, and now??Indra could sprint at top speed a mile and a half before needing to slow down, hold her breath for over 10 mintues, and hang suspended from one hand for nearly??50 minutes, and??almost??3 hours with both(alternation the weight each arm takes??every??50 minute then 30, then 10 minutes). This skill wasn't solely the product of physical training, but mental as well.

"The mind is the greatest weapon of the Luna Sedai, and of all humans every where. To become truely balanced requires the mind and body to be on one accord. Only then will you achieve harmony with yourself, those people around you, and the entire world."

Indra remembered those words from her mentor.

Indra was halfway up the mountain when a shadow passed over her. She turned and saw a familiar form streaking through the air. It was the Airbender. She found her.

"Should've known she'd come looking for me," Indra said under her breathe with slight sigh.

Okay then, here's mine.

NAME: Dak

GENDER: Male

BENDING: White Fire(not as hot as blue, but hotter than normal)

HEIGHT: 5'10"

WEIGHT: 165

HAIR COLOR: Black

EYE COLOR: Brick red(brownish red)

PERSONALLITY: Abrasive, intelligent, savage, also has a (somewhat)softer side.

BACKGROUND: A rebel against his nation, he was captured and put into slave-arena fighting. He has had a brush with death, thanks to his hated enemy, Kar. He has gone mad with eight years of murder and now has a voice in his head that commands him to kill. All he wants to do is get free and kill as many fire nation soldiers as he can, including Kar, before he dies.

Ami (Waterbender)

Ami walked into her room in her uncle's house and slid down the wall sobbing. She knew she was going to get in trouble for this, she was carrying a child by Fang. What was there for her to do but cry. Her hands shook violently and she sobbed hard.

Exodus felt her heart go out to Ami, but she knew she couldn't let Ami know she was there. She had to tell Fang subtly that Ami needed him, but right now pressing issues kept her watching Ami like a hawk.

Sakai wasn't sure if he should believe what he had heard his friend say. According to his friend Kohaku (rip off I know, couldn't think of anything else) his fiance was already pregnant.

He went into Ami's room to see her crying.

"So it's true, isn't it?" he demanded

"What's true?" Ami asked

"Your pregnant, aren't you" Sakai demanded

"No... I'm not"

"That's not what Kohaku heard... he was at the healer's when you were he heard the healer say you were pregnant" Sakai grabbed the front of Ami's parka "who is the father?" he demanded "Is it that airbender friend of yours?"

Ami said nothing

"Answer me" Sakai punched Ami in the jaw and knocked her to the floor

Exodus was shocked and horrified by what she now saw...??Fang was right to be conserned. Sakai was violent towards Ami and with her carrying a child she didn't need this sort of violence.

As much as Exodus wanted to step in on Ami's behaf she knew she had to report this to Fang and let him handle this. She just gave a little request to the moon and water spirits to watch over the young waterbender in her time of need. Then leave to find Fang and tell him that Ami was in trouble.

Ami (Waterbender)

Exodus started to go but heard Ami crying and stayed Sakai had punched Ami several times, but for some reason avoided her stomach, like he wanted to preserve the baby, even though it wasn't his.

Sakai stormed out leaving Ami curled up on the floor crying.

Exodus approached Ami and laid down at Ami's back

"Don't let him upset you, Ami, no matter what he says or does you are loved... never forget that"

"Exodus?" Ami looked over her shoulder at the white wolf

"Yes, I believe you need to get some rest... I'll stay with you the rest of the night if you want me to" Exodus offered gently

"Would you please?" Ami wiped at her tears

"Of course" Exodus replied and followed Ami into her bedroom

'I will tell Fang of these developments in the morning if Ami doesn't, but for now she needs comfort' Exodus thought

"Don't worry, Ami, I'm right beside you" Exodus said

Ami alowed the wolf's presence to comfort her and lull her off to sleep, she knew no harm would come to her as long as Exodus stood watch as her silent gurdian.
