What's up with Zuko's hair while dressed as Blue Spirit?... part of the mask perhaps? I'm not digging that at all.

Really? I thought it made the already badass Blue Spirit become 500% more badass, but guess it's just a matter of opinion and taste.

I can see both sides of the coin. Yeah he looks badass, but it also takes away from the sleekness. See in the show he is like a Ninja, he comes out of nowhere, and he maneuvers easily. Whereas I can see that hair being a hindrance when fighting...

I'm not crazy about the mask. I liked the one in the show better, the hair just looks wierd to me.

Hey guys, Rufftoon just posted on her DA journal that now Firebenders need to have a source of fire to bend. They can't just produce it on their own like in the show. She did a mini comic series about it.

Personally, I think this may have ruined the movie for me.

Oh yeah we've known for a bit, it's a perfect way to nerf them and makes it make more sense power wise once you think about it. Master firebenders can make fire at will, putting them lower in reliability than the other nations, but now fire is probably, well, firey and killy, so yeah.

Odd. Air, Water, and Earth have sources--the air, water (the planet's covered in it), and earth--so why not have the sun be a firebender's source of bending?

Sozin's Comet was in space... suprisingly close to the planet's atmosphere but still in space. And that works, somehow.

Plus, The Sun Warriors--a tribe known for worshipping the dragons that first invented firebending--runs essentially on having the sun as a power source.

*bzzt* stratosphere at least, i'm no scientist but the issue with Sozin Comet is not how his heat aids firebenders (which is hte case of the sun, it gives them a warm boost, but they don't use it as a source) rather why the hell that flaming rock doesn't crash with earth O___o

Why does it bother you so much? Some firebenders can bend without a source, the most powerful ones. Plus, it makes Sozin's comet soooo much more scarier.

    ***SPOILER***
    It makes sense.
