    I doubt the 3rd movie will be 3 hours long (even though that would be totally awesome!) At the most i think it'll be 2 1/2. And Combustion Man would totally fit! Night has to put the "It's Sparky Sparky Boom Man!" line in there haha Plus we got to have Zuko trying to call it off and become a good person.

    But, with the two main plot arcs (DOBS and SC) adding up to 3 hours and each being hard to trim.

    I think DOBS can be cut back immensely. In fact, I think they can even leave the whole "eclipse" thing out. It really had no significance to the rest of the plot and took up a lot of time. Of course, I loved it, but it takes up a huge chunk of time.

    Then all theyll have to focus on is Sozin's Comet, but what will the gaang do throughout all of Zuko's season 3 character development?

    Hmm... that's true. That would be a good reason to include the eclipse parts.

    If they took out the Day of Black Sun, what would happen in the second movie and the library/desert? They NEED to put all those things in there! We'll never see Sokka high on cactus juice! They should put the Day of Black Sun and Sozin's Comet in the movie.

    They could split the third one into two, or they could make it a really long movie like Titanic. I've watched several foreign films, and they are VERY long. I've seen many with critical acclaim, like Devdas, which was nearly four hours long, and others almost 5! However, they always had an intermission. Why don't they put an intermission right after the Day of Black Sun?

    It's already been confirmed that there will be three movies. Also, they could leave out the whole eclipse thing in the library/desert scene quite easily. They didn't NEED to find the eclipse information in The Library.

    Nononoonno, they still can find the library. They just won't find the eclipse information. But I do think it would make the movie a lot better if they had the eclipse information in it.

    They go to the library, but just don't find the eclipse information. It's not needed to complete that episode.

    I'm just saying they need to cut back on a lot of stuff. There are a lot of different reasons why Aang might have to talk to the Earth king. They might not be as epic as the reason for the TV series, but we've got to keep in mind there isn't that much time for the movies.

    You mean Omashu? Or New Ozai Whichever you prefer. It wouldn't be that hard. Bumi could've taken out those firebenders with or without their power.

    I'm hoping that wasn't sarcasm. I'm just putting out some possibilities. We can't include EVERYTHING in the movie. And I admit, you guys have brought up some good points that have made me change my mind about taking out the eclipse. But they've got to take out something.
