Oh well, for Avatar, it's so worth it. =D

We all hope it's worth it

I completely agree with your idea on the trailer. Too many people are shooting down the movie before it even had a chance. Once the trailer comes out I will peacefully let people believe the movie will be an epic failure. Until then, we've all got to have some faith and just assume it'll be good.

Another problem is how they're going to do the third movie... Considering season 3 had two distinct plots (DOBS and Sozin's Comet) how could they do it without the pacing being extremely off... Unless the first twenty minutes of Fire doesn't feature Aang at all and only focuses on the actual Fire Nation plot, only to have Aang wake up a week before DOBS... But even then, it would feel awkward to have an epic battle only for it to be followed by an even more epic battle... Unless they just cut DOBS altogether.

I hope they don't cut anything.
I hope that the final movie will either A. Be as long as LOTR B. Break it into 2 movies, like they're doing with the 7th Harry Potter

i was thinking they could do that. third film part one has the DOBS. And the second part has the coment. But they problem is more stuff happens before the DOBS. And not alot happens after. be cool if the final battel was epic and was 2 hours long. Think of all the goodness and enjoyniss of seeing the incredible series finale of the show entirly made into live action with no parts left out!!!!!!! Some one invent a time machine!

Sorry, only three movies. Hopefully they'll be long, though. But the HP fantasy has been ruled out.

You sir, are a shining example to all newbies. You should consider joining the Loyalist Committee.

It will be a while, but look at it this way; we survived year long gaps between LoTR, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. We can survive this break too.

He meant that there were large gaps between the books with LOTR. If LOTR fans could deal with it, then so can we.
EDIT: Or movies, for that matter.

There is nothing wrong with reading books; if reading were a crime, I would be public enemy #1. Fortunatly for us however, the LoTR books were all released some time ago, and so we could buy them all at once. we had to wait for the movies.

Well, hopefully the movies will be worth the wait, just like the LOTR movies were.
