There has to be something grotesque about it so finding out his father is the one who gave it to him all the more impacting.

I don't know... I think he could get away with just a bit of bad looking skin around the eye. As we keep telling ourselves, Bryke are working on the movie, and they are the masters of slipping things in past the censors (AKA, The Southern Raiders).

Another problem is how they're going to do the third movie... Considering season 3 had two distinct plots (DOBS and Sozin's Comet) how could they do it without the pacing being extremely off... Unless the first twenty minutes of Fire doesn't feature Aang at all and only focuses on the actual Fire Nation plot, only to have Aang wake up a week before DOBS... But even then, it would feel awkward to have an epic battle only for it to be followed by an even more epic battle... Unless they just cut DOBS altogether.

I hope they don't cut anything.
I hope that the final movie will either A. Be as long as LOTR B. Break it into 2 movies, like they're doing with the 7th Harry Potter

You didn't know that? Well, thats ok, not alot of people do..but now you know! They're breaking the movie into 2 parts so that they don't leave anything out. There was just so much in the book that they pretty much had to do it.

I have faith in it... I will not fully judge until I see a trailer though. I think with Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino by his side, it has the potential to be a very popular series of successfully made movies, but we will have to wait a fairly long time until we can even see a trailer... =(

Oh well, for Avatar, it's so worth it. =D
