i watched an interview with m.night and said he's leaning toward the 2 hour movie. which i can expect with all that happens in book 1. btw the official movie title is The Last Airbender for those of you who thought it was Avatar The Last Airbender: Water. I don't know how they'll separate the movie sequels by title, but i'm sure they'll think of something.

i realy hope they decide to split the 3rd season into 2 there is so many good parts in that season that i dont want to have to be left out. i wonder how they're going to do the kataang if they leave out EIP since the rest of that episode is not important.

Well it wouldnt be hard to fit some post-DOBS Kataang drama in there...
One of the problems with season 3 is that it's about as disjointed as season 1, excluding the Zuko character development in the first half.

A year is a year, and a year is a fairly long time.

Am i the only one who does not like Lord of the Rings?? o_O

    to keep this on topic:

OMG!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZINGLY EPIC!!!!!!!!!! almost 2 long years.

I'll try to keep away from spoilers and leaked scrips when they start to show before the movie comes out. I totally spoiled myself when it came to Pirates 3 and regretted it amensly.

Anyone else going keep themselves unspoiled or will you give in to temptation?

Absolutely not I'm going to spoil myself silly. I already know the story line to an extent. I need these few doses of Avatar to keep me sane.

I LOVE THE LORD OF THE RINGS!

I am a Lord of the Rings fanatic. How do i prove this? I read the Silmarilion. Yes, that is the depth of my LoTR fandom. Whatever gave you the impression that I didn't like it?

And I think we can give in and spoil ourselves. We already know what happens, so there is no point trying to keep anything a surprise.

Oh yeah i didn't really think that we already know the story line HAHA i'm slow sorry But i still wouldn't read the script if one was leaked and i wouldn't want to know what made it into the movie. I want it to be a SURPRISE! but i'll probably end up giving in to a few things.. haha

I know exactly where you're coming from, but I'm just not patient enough to have to deal with that again. Avatar has been on too many hiatuses and I am sick of staying away from spoilers. I think I can allow myself this one spoiler.

lol yeah i'm usually not patient either. I'll probably allow myself a few spoilers to get the feeling of the movie and it'll be hard to still chat and look through the forums if every1 is talking about the spoilers haha

It's ironic, but I am actually terrible when it comes to resisting spoilers. After I saw the first Lord of the Rings movie, I bought all three books, The Hobbit, The Silmarilion, and Unfinished Tales, ensuring that I knew everything and anything about the world of Middle Earth. I read the noveliztion for Star Wars, Episode III. Only with Avatar did I actively resist, refusing to acknowledge even the presence of potential spoilers, a measure for how much this show meant and means to me. But I think the movies will be safe. Besides, said spoilerific material could give us some indication of whether Bryke have lived up to our expectations and created another masterpiece.

Very true. I don't think there will be actual "spoilers" in this movie. I think they'll more be like "will this movie suck or not" indicators.

yeah your right... I'll probably end up spoiling myself there is no reason not too, since we already no the out come. I really cannot wait to know more about the movie. The one thing I'm worried about is if Night can get the characters personalities right. I know Bryke will be by his side, but it still makes me a bit nervous.

Do you think Combustion Man will be included? If so, how different will his role be? I mean, they need him to make an excuse for Zuko to join the Gaang, but will including him disjoint the third movie even further with multiple threats?

What do you mean by disjointed? I think Combustion Man will be included, and he should be included. I don't think that by including him it will get too confusing like Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. That was a head-shocker....

The third movie will be broken up in two distinct parts. By the end of the first hour or so we'll have had DOBS, and then well get about 2 more hours for the rest of the season. IT MIGHT NOT WORK WITH COMBUSTION MAN.
