    Hmm, I feel bad for who started this thread.?? Obviously, he/she didn't realize that this could easily escalate into a shipping war.?? As for me, I think the creators will give us a surprise ending and Katara and FOAMY will end up together!!

    What's the point of this thread anyway? Theres a sticky relationships thread which was made specifically for the shippers, so why don't you just post in there?

    Anyway, to answer the question, Kataang is obviously much more likely to happen. Kataang has had plethora of evidence while Zutara is still non-existant in the canon story, so this question is pretty much rethorical. It's not even a matter of opinion, Zutara is right now still just a fanon ship with no evidence in the story whatsoever. Just because it has a large fanbase doens't change that fact.

    Yes but some Zutarans are kinda serious about it. I would tolerate Zutara more and play with it, but the thing for me is...I'm not a ZUKO fan, I don't like him...XD

    Not to mention some Zutara fanart gives me the hives.

    Look all i'm trying to say is that??I believe in Zutara more than I believe in Kataang and who the bloody hell are you to tell me that i'm wrong! There is NO proof yet that either relationship is going to happen it is only my thoughts on what is more likely to happen, you might be a huge Kataang fan but still it is only your??opinion and there for you are neither right or wrong.

    I kinda figured the the Kataang card was played when the made a whole episode deticated to the relationship, and the numerous little signs through out the series.

    Now I'll be the first to admit I almost always a cannon shipper, what can I say? I'm a sheep going with whatever pairing the show tells me to go with. On rare occasions I'll throw caution to the wind and go off willy-nilly with two characters that randomly pop into my head and slowly grow more obsessed with them each day, even do desperate things like read fan fictions about them.

    In case you can't follow my insane train of thought I'm trying to say I like Zutara. Now before you go off with your "Kataang 4eva !" rants with all your capitol letters and far too many exclamation points and such, hear me out. I'm kinda on the fence about this, first of all??I stopped watching after all the weird scheduling changes here in Canada so I haven't actually seen a lot of season 2 (btw has the season finale aired in Canada yet?)??I thought I'd never watch it again until I heard some talk about the??Katara and Aang ??relationship and thought I'd get into it again. So I watched, I waited, hoping to see some of the??infamous pairing I had heard so much about. I can say I was a little disappointed with what I saw, some moments were alright but I just couldn't feel the heat between them. Plus I don't know I'm weird with the whole age difference.

    Then something strange happened: I started thinking Zutara. Even though they weren't in any scenes together as far as I saw, my mind's little wheels started turning and soon I was more or less hooked.

    Now once again I stress I haven't seen much of this show so I could be totally wrong about Kataang. I may have missed some defining moment that shows what a power couple they are. I just want to know what is the appeal of this??pairing? (not meant to be sarcastic in any way shape or form) what do they have between them that earned the such a fan following? I have switched teams before so I am still open to the idea of Kataang but for now I just can't stop thinking Zutara, call me the cliched type but I still enjoy a good bad boy good girl thing, but hey not every??time. Case in point on Lost I like Jack and Kate compared to Sawyer and??Kate. But then again just??look how that turned out. Maybe I'm just doomed to like hopeless pairings. Who knows if I ever actually see the season finale I might be so turned off by the whole Zuko betrayal I've heard about I jump right onto the Kataang ship. Or I might wind up liking Zutara a little more...I watch waaaaay too much tv.

    Well if you want, you can slowly go and watch the whole season two on the internet.
    I would recomend this if you have a fast computer. Go to http://www.theavatarportal.com/episodes.html

    It has Book 1.Water and Book2Earth. All of the episodes of Avatar ever. Some you have to watch them in sections, by watching the putifile (not downloading it). But if you want its all there you can see for yourself.

    Seriously, I love Zutara because of the whole "Opposites Attract" deal. I think it also has a cool side to it: two different people from two enemy nations getting together, them against the world? Loving each other despite what society says is right? Yeah. that whole concept appeals to me and I love it. Sorta like a Romeo and Juliet thing.

    The only reason I dont got mental over it is because romance isnt what Avatar is about. And I realize that. And I also know that it has probably a .8% chance of happening, if even that.

    But for s***s and giggles. i kinda like that reasont oo.

    Oh well. Zutara!!!!!!!!!! LD

    What is with the age difference they are two years apart, not ten, heck Zuko and Katara are 3 years a part but no one is saying anything about that. I say Kataang, its been hinted at in the show numerous times, and The cave of two lovers is a great example.

    Yet again I must come crashing into one of these relationship threads...

    Evidence is pointless. Katara could tell aang she loves him and he could say it right back and the next episode they could discover they have a serious personality clash that they didn't know they had before and then zuko could save katara's life with uncle iroh from something aang accidentally did but before he swept katara off her feet some marshians could land and katara would find one of them attractive and fly away in his space ship...the end... We are not the writers...we have absolutely no idea how it's going to end up. Evidence is pointless. These guys make their living off of surprising us! (aren't you glad I'm not one of the writers? I think ET and katara would be a great match)
