What happened to Zuko's mom ..??

    I'll bet that she comes back!! It may just be one of those "Show-up-for-one-episode-then-die-or-something" episodes, but she WILL come back!! She's probably a refugee or something somewhere, and either the gaang will run into her or Zuko will. But Ursa will return!!

    i don't think she's dead!! she might be in ba sing se!!! u never know!! the creators said in an interview on turbonick that zuko will begin a search for his mother...interesting. have u noticed that he's never talked about her??? only thought of her in flashbacks??

    Anyone else just think she got divorced and went into a life of hiding? On the avatar section of Nick, it says that she was Ozai's wife??before he was fire lord. If she died(but might have??died after the divorce), they wouldn't say before, now, would they?

    What I think: She killed Azulon to protect Zuko, then ran away before she could be caught. I'd bet she's in some Earth Kingdom town somewhere, hiding! But seriously, it'd be cool to bring her back, if only for a little bit...

    I'm w/ the less populer theory that Ursa killed Azulon. Ho? I've got 2 theorys. one is that she sufficated him and the other... did u know you can drown (ordrown someone else winkwink) w/ an 8 ounce glass of water? Why she said "everything I've done is to protect you."? in case someone found out that she killed Azulon, and then Zuko found out and he wouldn't think she was a serial killing maniac. footsteps? someone walking around, which means someone is awake, which means someone could go into azulons room, and she mayhave wnted to get out of there before Azulon was discovered to be dead. thats my theory. all well thought out and easy to understand.

    There are ways to kill someone without leaving a mark. There are ways to kill someone so fast they don't even feel it. If you hit someone hard enough in the nose, the bone goes into their brain and...Bye bye! She was wife of the Fire Lord, she had to know how to defend herself!! She didn't nessisarily take a dagger and cut out his heart or anything, but she could've done something subtle ((poison, etc.)) and is afriad it'd be traced to her so...She splits!!

    I agree with you there. I like that theory and what we have witnessed so far lends to that concept: there is nothing a mother won't do to protect her child, and in order to save Zuko, Lady Ursa gave the throne to Ozai by killing Azulon.

    Based on this line of thinking....

    If she did survive, and she runs into Zuko again, what would Iroh do? She killed his father.

Why??? Did you not see the face Ozai made when Zuko said he had been practicing his firebending as well, I believe that was a smirk??? Correct me if

    I think the punishment was her dealth and Ozai killed?? Azulon to try and save her.

    Why is zuko banded from the fire nation because seeing her in flash backs she seems so have really loved him and if she was alive she wouldn't have alowed that! i totally agree with the person who said that she took the place of Zuko when he was soopuse to be killed i thoght that was so sad because she loved him and his dad like hated him

    I got a theory! Some kid is dr - er, sorry. Force of habit.

    I have a theory. You guys hang to the idea that Zuko's mom is alive because he will search for her again in the future. There's another spoiler that says he will become ill and have a spiritual experience. Put the two of those together.

    Zuko gets sick, has an out of body experience and tries to find his dead mother.

    Don't know if this was said before, but I'm saying it now. I will slap whoever tells me I'm a newb for saying something someone else has said. And if it's Dumb TV Nut, I'll kick him in the face. You're on notice, DTVN.

    Say what before?, because I bet someone said it before!

    The events of azulon???s death, at least to me, is the most interesting mystery in the show, because no matter all the theories I have heard or have thought up my self none seem to fit just right to me, so I???m hoping the writers got a really good ending that will make total sense, and I be like ???Wow, Henry the 8th would be proud???

    I agree that Ursa killed Azulon and ran away.?? Watch the scene where Ursa says good-bye to Zuko.??

    1. She wakes him up quickly.

    2. She spend very little time saying good-bye

    3. Left as quickly as she came.?? And wearing a cloak no less

    If she was going to take Zuko's place to be killed/banished in his place, wouldn't she have spent more time with him as it would be their very last moment together??? To me she seems too much in a hurry for that.??

    You would still savor the moment instead of getting out of there as quickly as possible.?? If she did trade with Zuko for banishment, wouldn't someone know where she was.?? Azula knows a lot in the castle.?? She's the type that would tell Zuko mom was banished.

    I think that Ozai killed Azulon and somehow put the blame on Ursa. She heard of it and has no way to deny it since no one would probably believe her anyways, and tries to flee. Only she's killed by Ozai.

    Or something like that.....you can laugh at me now.

    All I know is that I think Ozai killed his father and sometime in that night Ursa was killed too.
