    I'm pretty sure Ursa assasinated Azulon in some way or another... what I don't understand is how Ozai became firelord =o

    I'd love to know myself. Does that mean there will be a continuation of the series? This time about Zuko's quest to find his mother? Perhaps a straight to DVD movie titled "Avatar: The Fire Lord." I'm just hoping.

    I agree, that's how I felt in season 1, but... in season 2 & 3 I got the impression that she's still alive somehow. Then in the season finale of season 3, Fire Lord Zuko (sounds so weird saying it lol) asked his father "Where is my mother?" It ended at that so I guess we either might never know, or one day find out.
