Well, you can kind of assume that Zuko found Ursa because later on in the finale he seemed happy enough. In fact, it seemed like he "dropped all his bricks" (I love that phrase ). I'm guessing that if he found out Ursa was dead or unreachable than the wouldn't have been nearly as serene.

This. There is no way Zuko would have been happily making tea in the final scene if he hasn't found his mother yet or something has happened to her.

*High fives Gilvatar* Everyone has to know about this. It could be the missing piece to a puzzle I'm not aware of.

I think we will properly see Zuko find his Mother in the third and finale film of Avatar. He probably found her in the series too, but I think the reason one of the crator's cut it, was to add a dramtic twist to the end... You can't answer ALL questions, afterall...

It wasn't cut out - it was never made at all.

The decision not to find Ursa was made a long, long time before the animation or voice acting began - back when they were still storyboarding the episodes, when the writing was still going on.

Oh... I read in alot of places that they were going to tell the story of Zuko and Azula's Mother, or, her fate would be known in the finale, but apparently one of the creators decided not to show it...

They were originally planning to show her, but one of the creators decided not to have her while they were still in the writing and storyboarding stage. The decision was made a long, long time before they actually started animating and doing the voice acting for the episodes.

But what I meant, was the IDEA of her being shown got cut out. Or, not made...
