    I'm still thinking that getting an older girl is a lot more complicated, and even Aang could have a lot of difficulties to get Katara's heart, even if it could show that way, I dont think its really possible. thats why I'm saying that Tokka and Kataang are maybe impossible.

    I would say that tokka has sailed in the sense that we now have concrete proof that toph likes sokka. However i'm not going to say that they'll end up together. A ship can always sail, but it can always sink too

    my parents have a 10 year age difference, never bothered me before, but this formula works, if toph were katara's age then definitely, i would ship it for sure, but she's not hit puberty yet (at least i doubt it) so no, no tokka for me.
    ...but kataang ftw, aang is definitely going through puberty, compare his voice in ep 1 bk 1 to the most recent episode.

    in TODAY'S WORLD for a younger age it might work, but after the one with the lesser age reaches 18, it is the complete choice of the couple, if a 22 year old wants to be with a 50 yr old, it is their choice, even if the formula says the youngest is too young (50/2 + 6 = 29)

    also remember that all changes depending on culture and year

    in the world of the 1820s, lot of 14 or 15 yr old girls married guys that were at least 30, sometimes in their early 40s, today many states would not allow a 20 yr old being with a 16 yr old, even if the "formula" allows it (20/2 + 6 = 16)as there has to be not more than 3 yrs difference if one is less than 18; and a few states would not allow an 18 yr old being with a 15 yr old (18/2 + 6 = 15), as they are strict that someone under 16 can't be with someone 18 or older; or a very low number of states will not allow an 18 yr old being with a 17.5 yr old, as some states laws are very strict and don't allow someone over 18 being with someone under 18 even if it is less than 1 yr difference

    Tokka FTW!!! Well, in season 3, Sokka's 16, Toph's 13. 3 years difference. Nothing much. My brother's 14 and he has 17 years old girlfriend.
