    if it was, Sokka would be 17.5(avatar started february 2005)and Aang would be 14.5 and Katara would be 16.5

    it has been only about 6 to 8 months from the time that Aang was found by Katara and Sokka, about 3 to 5 months since they met Toph

    Well Kataang has always sort of been up in the air, first Aang loves her then she kind of likes him too then he pushes her away and then she gets over it then he likes her again... like that. But this is Tokka's first real CANON episode. I mean seriously.

    The only thing that worries me is the possibility of unrequited love, since I'm not sure that Sokka sees Toph as Toph sees Sokka (well obviously...), but you know what I mean. Sokka sees Suki that way, saw Yue that way... sees Ty Lee that way? (scares me every time I watch the drill!). But yeah I suppose it's too soon to tell whether the Tokka ship has the strength to stay afloat!



    It's kinda weird how Sokka the weird guy has so many options as fer girls.

    Something I've been pondering for a while:

    Since Sokka's girlfriends all seem to die/vanish/be on opposite sides/whatever, I doubt Sokka is blind to this. So, assuming Tokka is afloat, what if during the final battle, SOKKA SACRIFICES HIMSELF TO SAVE TOPH??

    That kind of makes Toph's crush on Sokka more pure, because there's no superficiality with it since she doesn't know what he looks like. I like Tokka because I think it's just too cute (I can't think up another word for it) but I prefer George/Sukka.

    I'm pretty sure he is aware of this in some form. If you re-watch the Serpent's Pass set of episodes, Sokka is really overprotective of Suki. He freaks out at points. I don't think he's aware that Suki might be dead. Suki was back at Full Moon Harbor or somewhere along Serpent's Pass as far as he knew. The Ozai angels were at the outer wall of Ba Sing Se last Sokka saw them. Add in there are plenty of Kiyoshi warriors running around, the clothes could have come from anywhere.

    I wouldn't say there are plenty of Kyoshi warriors running around. As far as we know they always travel together. However, it would be plausible for them to suspect that the FN just made copies of the Kyoshi uniforms to infiltrate the EK. I'm still kind of curious as to why at the very least Sokka hasn't made an inquiry at all about them. I mean, it's just as plausible to suspect that they captured the Kyoshi warriors and stole their uniforms. Either way we're going to find out before it's all over what happened to them. Just strange that no one has even mentioned them since Appa's Lost Days.

    I did forget, until just now, he assumed Azula was Suki when they first arrived. so, it's up there. The copied clothes is a good guess.

    I think Tokka will happen. Sokka's starting to notice her a bit more. He defends her most of the time.

    That works in both ways. Toph is Blind and Sokka is just clueless in that area.
