If Azula was angry at her mom wouldn't she have done something.

I am of a decidedly rare school of thought, one that would benefit you all to hear: Azula is not truly evil. She is mental unstable from one of life's most soul-crushing pains: Perceived lack of maternal love. When she was a little girl (as we saw in "Zuko Alone"), Fire-Lady Ursa was hardly ever anything but stern and disciplining toward Azula, while Zuko was given the full force of her love all the time. Because of this, she chose her father's way, and thus became like him. But that is not who she is on the inside. Deep, deep down in her heart, Azula is just a sad little girl who's crying and lashing out at the world because she doesn't believe that her Mommy loved her. In short, Ladies and Gentlemen, all Azula needs is a HUG.
I seriously doubt that Azula is anything more than an evil Ozai puppet. There's no real evidence in the show showing that she is feeling pain inside.

i dont think azula is ozai's puppet.. i think she knows she will be given thr throne, so she's determined to do what she feels is right. i think she has a personal vendetta against the avatar, because her only failure in life in not being able to capture him. The avatar is the only thing that is keeping her from becoming... perfect (at least in her own mind)

i think u must have misunderstood. i didnt try to imply that azula will try to kill her father, i was saying that she will inherit the throne from him. also cliched villians are the ones that are most effective at doing what they do best. just look at emperor palpatine from star wars. a very cliched villian, yet hes one of the best villians out there.

Azula deserves no comparisons to legendary villains. lol But Azula will obviously not be very effective at all in the near future of Avatar. There's too many ppl to stop her and she has already failed at getting the Avatar too many times. Either Zuko, Iroh or somebody else will get rid of her soon enough. And it will be thanks to her evil cliched ways.

Maybe she does the also cliched "She destroys herself" thing. We finally see her SNAP and she starts randomly shooting fire and lightning everywhere and everyone backs away and she falls down/off something ((did I meantion the big canyon she's in front of??)) and somebody runs over to the edge just in time to see her dissapear into the abyss.....Then we get a commercail!!

Everyone deals with pain, in their own way. Maybe there is more to Azula. And she could be Ozai's puppet, we really don't know. We do know that Ursa didn't show much love toward Azula as she did Zuko, at least that's what we-the audience saw. Maybe she is angry that her mother was all about Zuko. In my opinion, there is more. It would seem Ozai suffered from an inferiority complex and maybe he favored Azula, his second child like he was, so she wouldn't have to go through the same thing as him. After all, Iroh is named after his mother Ila, and Ozai named his second child after his father...

And this, "Azula needs a HUG" thing sounds very familiar to a fic called "Til Death Do Us Part" in ff.net. LoL

I hope this will be revealed sooner or later, instead of killing off Azula like they did Zhao. She is part of the royal family and is Zuko's SISTER--would they just throw her away?

C-4? Are you nuts? They'll detect it in an instant! Use either Semtex or Plastique. They're much more easy to smuggle into places because they contain no metal. They're also a lot less expensive and less difficult to acquire. I mean, the Iraqis can't even get quality C-4, and they have some of the worst terrorists on Earth among them.

They're also a lot less expensive and less difficult to acquire. I mean, the Iraqis can't even get quality C-4, and they have some of the worst terrorists on Earth among them.

Good point...Or I could do like that one guy and load up on fertilizer and all that stuff...

I'm partial to Plastique, myself, but whatever floats your boat.

This reminds me of an old Chinese proverb "The Fires of Tribulation may forge a will of iron, but they may also warp a heart of gold." Although that one may be better applied to Zuko, now that I think about.
