Was that ever actually confirmed? It could have just been the swamp I guess, but how does a tree make a tornado? It's not like we ever saw the swamp doing anything else like that... other than the one branch hittin the bird |

a new air bender could be born and may not be known about. In the episode Th Swamp, Katara discovered that water benders are not just born to the people of the water tribes. Katara is the only water bender in her family (I only know in her immediate family) or from the Southern Water Tribe yet she is a bender so it may be possible for some one who cannot to bend to have a child who can and who is an airbender

that one is aang... the four guys in the intro are different characters from the show: waterbender: Master Pakku earthbender: idk firebender: Azula airbender: Aang dunno how i know that... i found it somewhere... hmmm... |
I honestly do not think that he is the last Airbender. It just doesn't make sense to me why he would be. I mean, supposivly, the Fire Nation killed off all the Airbenders right? Why in the world would they do that? I, the Blue Spirit Zhao said that he wanted to keep Aang alive because if he killed him, their search for the Avatar would just start over. So why would the Fire Nation aim to kill??the Air Nomads??at all in their raids of the Air Temples? They could have killed the Avatar in the process, making their efforts kinda' pointless (Well, besides conquering one nation).
Personally, I think the Air Nomads are still alive. Where? Why in the Fire Nation itself of course. As slaves, prisoners, whatever.
