Back to the topic at hand...

    the Earth King.

We have seen MANY of the leaders of the earth bending tribes to be POWERFUL benders.

How much raw power do you think the King of Ba Sing Se is? I think he is stronger than Bumi and Toph.

P.S. Ursa is alive, if anyone doubted it. There was an interview with the Avatar creators who said that they wanted to do more with Ursa.

*loses mind* FOR THE LAST TIME THE DREAMS ARE A FOLLOW UP ON ZUKO ALONE!!! Oh, and i saw the new footage. It was good, but one line got on my nerves, "lets fly." THAT IS A TERRIBLE LINE! What's next are they gonna say, "you're toast!" Or something else trying too hard. Anyway, this should be a great epi
*yells at you to stop being ignorant* WELL MY IDEA WAS THAT HE HAD A DREAM, SO IT WOULD BE HIS PAST MIXED WITH HIS OWN NIGHTMARES, PLUS, URSA WAS IN ZUKO ALONE SO I'M PRETTY SURE SHE'D BE IN THIS FOLLOW-UP TO ZUKO ALONE YOU KEEP YELLING ABOUT.

Yea overall I'm peeing my pants in suspense, but when Katara said "Let's fly." I was like, are you kidding me? That is the most overused, cliche, retarted line ever made. Love Avatar with all my heart, but god, I hate those cliche lines (this is actually kinda a first for Avatar).

(looking around)... ahem.. okay, gotta do it

so... don't know if anybody else asked this question yet, because all I've really read were the last few posts.... in the preview, Toph gets her hands tied with those "rock gloves" behind and so does everybody else... realistically that should last for about 2 seconds... yes?

(easy slide back to topic) ??

I don't know...maybe to avoid looking like criminals infront of the Earth King they'll just let the Dai Li throw them out...but eventually Long Feng turns all of Ba Sing Se against the Avatar...it'll be a nice episode I'm sure...but sadly I won't get to see it Friday...my job once again rears it's head...but Friday is still gonna be a great day for me...my gaming brothers nationwide know what I'm talkin' about

Yeah. Shackling an earthbender with stone grips is like drowning a waterbender.

Umm, to bend, you need to have your hands free- remember in 'The Great Divide', the earthbender guide couldn't bend since his arms got broken. Only really powerful benders like Bumi can do bending even when bound (he used his chin)- or firebenders, who can BREATHE heat or fire.

I thought earthbending mostly required your legs. Ah well.

I think thats true of most earth bending (which makes me question why the guide couldn't earthbend in The Great Divide) but I read in wikipedia that Southern Praying Mantis (the style Toph's earthbending is modeled after)??doesn't use a lot of kicks, and when it does they are usually low kicks. Anyway I'm pretty sure Toph would have a hard time getting herself out of the cuffs, but she still probably could.
