Based off the text in the preview, the Dai Li's control over the Earth King seems to be deception, rather than outright brainwashing. There seems to be a hint of a big fight between Long Feng and the Earth King's troops- a big battle that Aang and the rest will have to take part in. The next episode looks awesome.

OT a bit, in terms of Jet and his freedom fighters- he isn't dead until it's actually said in the show, and certainly not just because 'everyone' says it is. Also, I hardly think that a Nickelodeon series would allow several characters to be killed in such a manner, offscreen, as some are speculating about Smellerbee and Longshot... that kind of thing doesn't even happen much in anime (where characters can get killed off quite easily). Chances are, the FF were able to get Jet away from Lake Laogai- or have been captured. In the latter case, they'll probably show up at the end of the Dai Li crisis.

If there's one thing you can be pretty sure of on television, if the death isn't COMPLETELY confirmed, they're not dead. Heck, plenty of times even if it IS completely confirmed they're not dead.

I wonder why Toph couldn't get them out of hwatever trap they were in in the preview for The Earth King.?? What was going on there anyway??? It sounded like they were trapped in some kind of quick sand or something was pulling them down.?? Can someone please help me out here and explain waht was going on in the preview??? I'd really appreciate it.?? And I hope turbonick makes another mistake again!

Anything on this sickness Zuko has? He's my favorite character, and I want to see what path he's taking after his giving up the chase is Lake Laogai. Maybe this sickness is a sort of coming of age thing for Zuko, showing his transistion of maturity?

Did they even post the "you can watch the first two minutes of this episode NOW on Turbonick" thing? They give us a sucky 7-second trailer mixed in with the other Friday Night Nicktoon shows and not even two minutes of the next episode? I hate Nick so much. Can someone please??post if they ever decide to put a two-miute preview up.

That's all I asked for.?? I wasn't putting Toph down.?? Believe me. Toph is my second favorite character!?? I was just wondering why she couldn't get them out.?? How do you search on turbonick??? I was just wondering.?? I wanted to see if they had the earth king up or anything neat like an interview iwth Mae about Katara.?? But I cna't search because I don't know how ot use turbonick except to watch the videos that are already there on the main page it takes you to.?? Can someone please help me?

zuko's probably gonna have a vision/dream about the path he's going to take, because he's at a critical turning point right now between helping the fire nation(who ironically hates him) and helping the avatar instead of trying to capture him thats my guess, but mines as good as any

Allow me to help, this will help us speculate about the zuko stuff much more. This episode is a follow up on Zuko Alone. This means that we should all work on our Ursa/Azulon/Ozai theories some more. I hope this isnt a spoiler, pooldude, i think its just an intreger. Rewatch Zuko Alone everybody.

I still believe Ursa killed Azulon, and that Ozai being fire lord was part of the deal in the ag ni kai that they had. Then Ursa ran away, and all along, Zuko was not going to be sacrificed, Azula lied about that to try to get Ozai to be fire lord so that she could maybe take the throne. The phrase in The Avatar State, "like I haven't done that (lying) before," was possibly referring to this situation where she lied to ursa in hopes to kill azulon off and make herself closer to power.

Maybe Zuko gets bitten...we haven't seen any snakes in the Avatar world yet...and we know some poisons have hallucinagens(sp?) in them...that could be why he's having a spiritual crisis...some rare snake bite...

You know, I was about to get all excited because I saw that Turbonick FINALLY has something up about The Earth King... but you know what??? It's the same stupid 7-second commercial they had on before.?? It's the ad that mentions Avatar, JN and SB all in the same promo.??
