You're neglecting the fact that Katara kissed Aang first in the finale, and looked like she was enjoying it very much so. Not to mention the proud, happy, loving look that was on her face when she was looking at Aang at Zuko's coronation.

Okay, I don't think that we're ever going to resolve this. You've obviously completely blinded yourself the to the obviousness of Katara liking Aang (that, or you don't really believe yourself, and are just saying it out of loyalty to what you perceive to be the "better looking ship"). Pretty much all of the other Zutarians have (reluctantly) ceded the canon victory to Kataang. Zutara may live on in fanfiction, but may I just say that if a certain Zutara fanfic that I read yesterday when it was advertised on a thread that somebody made here is any example of the best that Zutara can do, there doesn't seem to be much hope in that department either.

No offence to the nice, sensible Zutarians (London, EmoHaruno, etc), but one of the reasons why I personally can't stand Zutara is because so many of it's shippers base their preference simply on the fact that it "looks better". I love Kataang because it is a non-shallow ship that is based around to people whose love for each other has nothing to do with looks, and everything to do with the fact that they love each other purely for who they are (yes, I know that sounds corny x 10,000, but it's all I could come up with).
spiritual love > physical love (but thankfully post-finale Kataang has both).
