Sokka ship?

    That's convoluted. Zutara isn't just based on sex, i personally think there could be more to it. Sure Kataang is a perfect pairing, and i'm not saying one is better than the other, i'm saying i would have PERFERED to see one of the other. I just always liked Zutara because it seemed theatrical and dramatic.

    I know what you mean. Sometimes perfection isn't always perfect. But I couldn't bear to have anyone else other than Kataang because it would ruin the entire show for me. Not really, the show is too awesome. But it would kill part of it just because it's been building up the ENTIRE series. If Bryke decided to just go Zutara or Taang on us, I think I'd be so angry I'd bite something. It just wouldn't fit.

    We don't so much dislike it as believe that it wouldn't work - for exactly the same reason as to why we believe that Zutara would not work. For all the theatricality and drama of the whole "opposites attract" thing, Kataangers (and Maikoists) are generally the people who believe that the best relationships are the ones where the two people are compatible, to some degree. We're not saying that they have to be perfectly alike, but you have to admit that a relationship where the pair are likely to clash on almost every detail has got to be pretty darn sexy (or the two people are really, really eager to come to agreements on everything after much arguing) if it's going to avoid have some rough spots.

    That, to me, is more perfect than Katara and Aang. Toph and Aang are too close in age and maturity. With Kataang, there is more of an unbalanced thing going on. Toph and Aang are way too immature for each other. I don't feel like Aang would work as well with Toph just because Toph can't get serious enough when Aang really needs someone. I know Toph CAN be serious, The Runaway is one of the episodes that proves that (when she talks about Katara), but Katara is better for Aang. Their differences make them a better match. I just don't like the idea of Toph and Aang together.

    She never really flirted with him. If anything, Tokka was more likely. I don't like that one either, just because I'm a Kataang fan. If the four original members of the gAang all got all luhvy dovey then it would kind of kill it for me. It would be too Disney.

    Lol, that's a great way to look at it. But I must admit, the whole Serpents Pass episode was SO cute. That ALMOST made me a Tokka fan.

    I was seriously craving avatar tonight (it's night here), and I decided to watch some old eps. After watching a couple, I realised why the ending seemed kind of disjointed as far as relationships were concerned. There weren't enough moments where Katara showed her attraction to Aang! The best moment I saw was in "The Headband", where it was HER who was jealous for once! They should've introduced a couple more scenarios near the end of the series to help balance it out more (there was so much room for that sort of thing when all the kids were at the air temple togehter). ah well...KATAANG RULES!
