Does Katara love Aang? The Ending

After seeing the new trailer, wich ship ( you think ) will happen?

    I think there'll be one tiny moment like someone else says, where Katara will try to talk to Aang about the kiss. Katara will also have yet another ambiguous facial expression while trying to talk to Aang and it will cause us all to argue even more.

    Well.. there is a realy big problem with zutarian world view:

    1: Zutarian idea that Katara will trust and love Zuko. (after she was for weeks on Aangs bed. After the kiss. After she and Aang became couple.)

    2: Or that Zutarians realy think that Zuko will give up his Mai for a fight against Aang for Kataras love.

    just a question; are you all nuts?

    Your summation of the arguments are part of what causes more arguments. Most Zutara arguments (that aren't saturated with fanatacism and are well put together) argue that Katara doesn't really love Aang as a companion (bf/gf) but in a motherly or sisterly way. Aang feels different, but it can be argued Katara just doesn't share his sentiments. Kataang opinions are more on your side in that she loves him but hasn't expressed the feelings for him *yet*. Correct me if I'm wrong about either one...politely, please.

    Maiko can be argued for or against. I wrote a post about how it could be easily broken and it wasn't a very strong relationship to begin with. However, this thread is about Aang and Katara, not Zuko and Mai, so I won't rewrite it here unless asked to do so. Having said that, you're saying that Zuko will actively compete for Katara's affections. That cannot possibly be asserted as he and Aang's group have not yet met on friendly grounds.

    I'm not. Though I'm not entirely sure Aang and Katara are going out now, unless we see in the next episode that it really did go without saying that they're official. Nice touch bringing up Katara, and her spending all that time with Aang in his bedroom, I forgot about that. Though that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

    I think Maiko is likely to end but I also feel that Maiko ending doesn't necessarily automatically mean Zutara.

    I think Maiko is likely to end but I also feel that Maiko ending doesn't necessarily automatically mean Zutara.


    No, Zuko could very well end up with June for all we know (that was her name, right?). But putting down Maiko gives Zutara supporters a little more ammo, or at least one less front to be attacked on. This is a war after all. =p

    I have read all pages (call me crazy) and it was quite interesting actually, and Nakkie kept changing the poll, so it was 'fun' in here

    Heres a few things that is against Zutara

    1 Zuko is joining them because of Katara, he's there to help Aang

    2 He has no feelings for Katara

    3 He doesnt know her name

    4 Katara would not join Zuko to help him find his mom Her main prioity is to help Aang she is his waterbending teacher,If she were to somehow go, the others would go too I dont see Sokka and aang letting her go by herself with Zuko

    5 There isnt much time left

    6 Zuko will also be looking for Iroh

    7 There is also the Mai factor, no matter how you think about it, he has feelings for Mai you cant diss that

    8 The trust issue, Katara and Sokka arnet just going to trust him right off the bat

    9 Aang and Katara have to work out what is between them. Whether they get together or not I just dont see Katara jumping into Zuko's arms the minute he joins the group

    10 Zuko is going to be teaching Aang how to firebend

    I also think that Zuko uis going to help Aang with Katara. He's going to realize that there is something going on between them.
