Katara has her strengths and weaknesses as a caretaker and person, so sometimes she can be annoying.????Also,??she does have to deal with her brother a lot who sometimes can get on her nerves.????But she certainly can fight, especially after seeing her nearly beating Azula.??????

She is annoying. Self-righteous and a killjoy--remember when the boys are playing with Appa's shed fur, and she's getting flustered? Even the earthbender with anger issues got into it.

Katara has her moments of being a likeable character, but more often than not she's stuck being a prude. It's necessary, of course, to have a foil to Aang's carefree personality, and I'm glad it's Katara who gets stuck with being it, because Sokka is darn funny

YES. Katara is ahhhhhnnoyhhhing!!! Rememeber Zuko alone? I can't wait for them to make a Katara Alone episode, and then only show what Aang, Sokka and Toph do without her.

I imagine hammocks, lemonade and silence.

Katara's not that bad.?? Her flaws make her good as a character.?? Granted, there are times when she could've been done a little bit better, but I hate it when people point out flaws and say "That's why she needs to leave".?? Because if she's perfect, then people will complain even more, and you all know it.

And then she started to laugh. It was stupid anyway. She is more mature then them. I happen to like Katara.

More of Katara's motherly and sweet attributes are being forgotten in favor of her more outgoing and tough personality. Now she's clearly more bossy and not as sweet.

Honestly,??don't find Katara to be that annoying. She has her pros and cons, just like everyone else. Most of my friends have traits that piss me off from time to time, but I don't go off them because of it. Not to mention, she, Aang, Sokka, and Toph are all children. They're going to be a bit more annoying than most people with their personal quirks combined with the immaturity that comes with young age. The Gaang is more believable because of it.

Does anyone else wish Katara and Toph could've had that mud-bending fight in 2.15 that was discussed? It would've been really awesome, and that episode needed a little more action...

Katara? Annoying? Katara was the first hot character shown. I've been in love with her since day 1. But now there's azula, mai, and ty lee to drool over...

there isn't a single annoying character in avatar, they're all really good, the evil ones are good at being evil, the good ones are all really good, and the grey areas (like zuko) are good too!

Katara is a great character. She has flaws and strengths. Sheez, why does everyone pick on her and Aang? Aang is a child and Katara is a mature teenager. What I got they're just jealous of them.

Katara is mature one second and then immature the next. She acts like she's got everything together, then starts whining and acting like a baby. I don't mind her maturity. I want her to be consistant.
