    She is somehow annoying. But better she stay with Aang, sometimes she's very needed.

    Eh, I don't think she's that perfect. She gets mad, jealous, and mean like any other character.

    I think she is a normal character who cares for Aang because she loves him *duh*. Thats why she is stubborn sometimes because she is trying to protect him.

    I would give Katara A++ for her caring and stuff...

    I think she is a realistic character, obviously has floors sure but??i wouldnt say annoying. I think she will have quite alot to do with the endings plot line.

    i think that she is a normall character and im not against yor opinion coz u have the rite 2 say wot u wanna say but still she is a kind character person yer and she isnot annoying

    Katara's whole character is the 'mother figure'. Without her, the group would seem too much like the kids they are! Katara brings some maturity to the group!

    She's just too perfect.
    Like I nearly cried when she beat Zuko, they need a rematch.
    SHE CAN HAVE THE MOON!!!
    ZUKO HAS HIS PWNFULNESS
    (The main reason I hate her is because of her battle with Zuko.
    She isn't that bad but..... NO ONE CAN BEAT ZUKO UNLESS I SAY SO!!!)

    At first... I thought he was just an ugly temp villain but Zuko's something else. He's the ultimate character.
    If he would've had broadswords...

    Sorry to say but that's BS why, well not everbody is able to act like a mother 24/7 not even my own mother is able to do so so why can't she be allowed to release her inner child once in a while she's just (based on a) "human" so she's got the same characteristics as one as well and so she can't always be serious she has to act as old as she is. I rather think that she's a sad person cuz she is trying to replace her mother who she lost at an early age and to do so she put's away her inner child and tries to be someone she's not....
    remember what she said in the first episode (when riding to penguins), Katara: I haven't done this since i was a child
    Aang: Your still a child     (not word for word but haven't got such a good memory)
    So you can say katara is annoying but i rather see it as a development... let me explain:
    1st season: She was motherly though at times acting like the kid she is.
    2nd season: She is less motherly and more the katara she used to be...

    So actually what i'm trying to say is that the katara you hate (some ofcourse) is actually just a person mixed with different characteristics...

    But she will always be a motherly person thingie but i think her 14year old character is going to develop a bit more and probably will show itself?? (but also a bit more tamed) in season 3....

    But that's just my thought and assumption about this whole katara thing.

    yeah Katara is changing but overall the showhas set her as the motherly figure, the one who wants to help people just because she thinks its right. It does get annoying that she rarely lets her hair down (both figurativly and literaly) but I don't think the showq could be the same with out her steryotype

    She is pretty annoying, I was espescially annoyed in the most recent epsiode "Tales of Ba Sing Se" where they made fun of Toph but once again highlighted how pretty Katara is. I mean she didn't exactly look great in that make up either. Maybe I wouldn't hate her so much if the writers didn't seem to go out of their way to make her look good. I mean at first I was okay with it because I thought it tied into Kataang. Like okay they make her look good because they want to show why the avatar likes her, but after a while it just got so annoying. I really hope they dumb that down just a little, it's become tedious and oh so annoying.

    i guess she can be too motherly but thats what makes her her.thats like telling toph to quit being sarcastic or sokka to quit being so stubborn.thats what makes them them.maybe she'll grow out of it someday but i doubt it

    Well Zuko was pretty damn weak from swimming under water and he was hit by a explosion.He beat her the irst time, but the moon helped her win.She is still not a match for zuko.

    Uhh... did you watch the same episode that I did? To me it seemed like it was highlighting Toph's looks. How on earth did it comment on Katara's looks? The only thing I remember is Toph saying "I would comment on how you looked, too, but I can't really see what you look like," or something along those lines.

    They didn't litterally say anything but they implied it first of all when in the morning Toph did nothing about her looks and Katara did, then the girls made fun of TOPH not Katara (even though from what I saw, she didn't look much better), and then when Katara told Toph she was pretty her face was hidden behind her bangs and then they did this close up of Katara with long eyelasses (which is always or usually a symbol of someone being pretty if they can't emphasize it another way) and everything. Katara may have said something about Toph being pretty but the writers kind of implied that Katara was pretty or prettier than Toph.

    Anal? Please. Katara lovers can be just as anal, believe me. I had no problem with her in season one, but now I absolutely hate her because of what the writers are doing.

    When people say that Katara is too perfect thats really annoying, this is a cartoon show and??if the writers want her to be perfect, she wouldn't spaz out from time to time. And when you??call??someone perfect you are reffering to all the characteristics of??that person, and we know that not all of Katara's characteristics are perfect, so therefore she cannot be perfect.
