That's not a fireball! It's a fire string

Azula uses blue fire and blue lightening. We have never seen her use orange fire except during the flash backs in "Zuko Alone."

Regradless, if it was fire or lightening Azula was going to kill and/or hurt Mai really really badly.

I wonder if Ozai shoots blue fire too? I've seen him shoot lightning but not fire yet.

knowing how much azula's achieved through her brains and power, it's hard to imagine ozai being that much better of a fighter than she is, even with his 1 second lightning.

he may use orange fire though like sozin. i think blue fire is reserved for azula because m&b wanted her to be special like that cause that's what her name comes from.

Those pictures clearly show Azula going for fire. If it was lightning there would be more waving of the arms and that 'circular' motion mentioned earlier.

The reasons it's proooobably not lightning:
Emotionally calm? Not then.
Circular motion? Newp.

But most of all, when they're charging it up, you see it around them before they shoot it forward. Even with Ozai's insta-pew-pew. There's nothing there at all.

As much as I'd love for it to be lightning, I don't think it is.

Whoever goes to Comic Con next year/this year (San Diego, right?) someone please ask if what Azula was trying to do was a fire string or lightning. XD

I think we are all missing the point. Regardless of whether it was fire or lightning Azula was trying to bend, I think we can all agree either one would have deadly if she hit Mai.

hey something i don't understand as that when mai and ty lee were captured by the guards they could have still escaped. in fact, i bet that they could have defeated the guards easily. And, even if azula almost gained full movement of her limbs again, ty lee could have used the coke hold on her like she used on katara in the crossroads of destiny.
