Because the writers don't like explaining loopholes... Actually, I'm still trying to figure that out. I don't think it's the heat that matters. |

I saw something in her from the very first episode of season 2, something that finally overwhelmed her in the series finale. I saw a spoiled, bratty, child who had not yet matured and learned that she can't always get what she wants. I did not feel sorry for her in the slightest; on the contrary. I made jokes at the TV, wagging my finger at the screen and saying "Now, now, you must learn to express yourself in a mature fashion and use your words!" and joked that all the water we saw puddled around her was her tearbending. What I had once considered to be the most evil, psychopathic, and greatest princess character I had ever seen in fiction; an admirable villain for her sheer adeptness at being a villain, had become nothing more to me then a tantruming crybaby in only minutes. In my view of her, I reminded myself of a villain, like the way Ozai might think. Once, I admired her emotional manipulativeness and her observation skills in spotting and taking advantage of weakness. However, once she showed such shameful weakness, I mentally turned against her and considered her nothing more then pitiful.

everyone has their faults, hers turned out just to be one of a poor childhood, that one trip to the shrink could have solved ^_^

Yeah, I heard somewhere around 2010.
Azula shall be played by Lindsay Lohan. (C'mon. Can't you see all that bent up rage inside her too?) And Dakota Fanning and Brad Pitt will be playing all the rest....
Just playin'
her breakdown reminded me of Light from death note just before she died

Perhaps some Spirit Oasis water can do her some good. |

That gets me too. For a while I thought about gender being the issue but we've seen minor female firebending characters that bend with reg. fire. |

She's gone coocoo, short, sweet and to the point. Little mad with power... |
Azula turned into a mess. Well Obviously. It kinda freaked me out at first.
