1)I may not be that far in the series, but from what I understand, his shadow-choke is a completly diffrent jutsu than the shadow bind.

3) Shkamaru may knowe the basics, but Sokka is stronger, older and has more experience. And why the heck are you talking about Rock Lee? He's not even part of this.

4) And what, pray tell, could Shikamaru possibly do to Sokka when he's two feet away? Even if Skikamaru doesn't feel the attack (which I firmly belive isn't true) long range weapons arre useless at that distance, and if Shikamaru hits Sokka, Sokka will just hit right back - with a stronger punch too.

I agree with you on Toph, though. Granted, some people think that Neji's foot speed would complensate for the "earth sense".

I do like both shows! But when one show gains favor over another than the quality in the other diminishes. When you start comparing points eventually ONE WILL win out and watching that other loser is no longer as fun as it used to be.

I did. I love Naruto, I watched it long before this thread ever existed. Plus, I own the manga. The moment I read that chapter, I immediately thought, "If Kin has to imitate everything Shikamaru does, no matter where she is, then what was the point of the shuriken fake-out?" Later on, in the chapter I have already specified (the end of 96, just as a reminder), we learn that what hurts the possessed also hurts Shikamaru. From that, I came up with this little theory. The way I see it, there are three options: either Shikamaru realised the jutsu, the jutsu reached it's time limit, or there's a big plot hole in Naruto.

i love these kinda threads...comparing characters n all that...i like Naruto(when it isn't in filler mode) and Avatar is as great a show as there is on TV...to me that is...its just like when ppl talk about who'd win "Superman vs. Goku" though that does tend to get outta hand (Goku would be whipping his butt with Sups cape but that's another forum)...wait what was my point again?

Are you kidding ??they'll kill Sokka well those ninja's would win they'll just kill Sokka without any second thoughts in Avatar people have more sympathy for others and just leave them to either die or live without any honor.
