    If the trailer is 100 seconds in length, then I think it is logical to expect them to display some of the characters. As to what the trailer contains specifically...we can only speculate and wait with bated breath.

    Because they wont quite have finished filming by then I doubt there will be many special effects. If there are any scenes it will probably be dialouge not action.
    But if Transformers can have the robots in the trailers I'm sure avatar will have some action. I mean unless you're not already an avatar fan a trailer probubly wouldn't grab you're attention w/out the action.

    I don't know if that Dev Patel picture takes place during a flashback, but he doesn't seem to have a scar.

    Right, he definitly has two eyebrows so it looks to me like he doesn't have a scar in that picture. That would make him pretty old for the agni Kai though. Hopefully the cast photos that are suppose to come out soon include another one of Zuko with the scar.

    Cool, we finally get to see what Noah Ringer looks like. He really does look a lot like Aang. As for the Dev Patel picture, this is probably just an early photo without all the details, they'll probably add everything else later and give Dev a scar.

    Oh my! My sister and I were very disappointed with these photos. Of course, they may be subject to change and just some sort of teaser photos, but:

    1) Why does Zuko have hair on his head> Where's the pony tail? Even if it is a flashback, Zuko should have a full head of hair and a pony tail!

    2) Why is Aang's arrow so faint? I can barely see it! Plus, did anyone notice that he's wearing different clothes?

    As far as your second question goes, I'd say these changes are to make Aang look less cartoony. A live boy would look pretty silly with a blue arrow on his head, so his tattoo seems to be more like an arrow formed from a pattern.

    Also, as far as my earlier comment about the scar goes, perhaps Dev Patel is not going to have a prosthetic scar. They may be adding it digitally later, using techniques similar to those used for Benjamin Button. Also, this is probably just a publicity photo instead of an actual shot from the movie. How many tickets would you sell if the young man people loved in Slumdog Millionaire had an ugly scar over much of his face?

    I'm assuming momo and Appa are both going to be computer animated. (that's a duh statement there) but do you think we are actually going to see the crew ride Appa or do you think they will somehow get around that to save some money on the picture. since Momo isn't exactly necessary for the plot do you think he will be cut out altogether or will they keep him in? Personally I believe they should keep them both in. but sometime's movie makers have different ideas as to what will be on my screen.

    I just hope this film will be good enough that it will convince viewers who are unfamiliar with Avatar to check the series out after seeing the movie.

    ROFL...They will probaby use a blue/green screen for Appa, if they even use Appa. He is however a main character...
