MTV Movie Award nominations has been announced today, Slumdog Millionaire and Twilight lead nominations. Dev Patel has recieved 2 nominations, Breakthrough Male Performance and Best Kiss (with Freida Pinto). Does anyone think it will be a battle over Slumdog Millionaire and Twilight for Best Movie?

It was. Slumdog was amazing, and Twilight was just terrible, it just wasn't a very good adaptation in my opinion.

Today Frank Marshall went to see James Newton Howard record the music to be used for the June teaser trailer. It was done today with a full orchestra presumably in LA.
Cant wait to see (and hear) the teaser trailer.

I pray that they decide to employ music from the animated series in the trailer. The music does not have to an exact replica, but something similar to the opening theme would be desirable.

That would be awesome. I was so upset when I found out the Track Team wasn't working on the movie anymore because their great music wouldn't be used.

Yeah..that would be cool...they would probably do some sort of Asian-Western music score...

I thought a teaser trailer was a bit shorter, though- like 30 seconds. But this is of course even better, we should get to see some good scenes.

What's a Teaser Trailor? What kind of scenes is it showing from Avatar: The Last Airbender? Are the scenes showing some characters and stuff for the future live-action movie?

Teasers can be very very short or almost as long as a regular trailer. As long as the trailer doesn't reveal too much of the plot it can be considered a trailer. 100 seconds is actually short compared to the 2 and half minute trailers that have been released recently.
Because they wont quite have finished filming by then I doubt there will be many special effects. If there are any scenes it will probably be dialouge not action.
