I wonder what hot places there are to film for the Fire Nation, the Fire Nation Soldiers in the original Animated series at times were around hot places, so I'm sure in real life there could be good volcano areas for filming or something. As for cold areas perhaps for the Water Tribe or other reasons, there's also Alaska and Canada am I right?

Yeah, I was thinking of those places too. Where do you think they will film parts of the Earth Kingdom like Omashu and other places like Kiyoshi Island? I guess it would probably be in dry places like Australia? IDK I can't really think of a good place right now LOL. But I have heard that Vietnam was going to be one of the places the movie will be shot, maybe that's where the Earth Kingdom scenes will be.

Ooh ooh! I have another question! Does anyone here know who the actresses are that are gonna play Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee? Oh wait... if the first live-action movie is gonna be based on only book one... then those three star characters are probably not even gonna be in it.
Hmmm, perhaps it would be a good idea for someone to give me the full list of all the actors of who's playing who for Avatar's first movie... that is, if someone here has that kind of information to provide to me.
And are there gonna be two more future movies next up showing book's two and three?

So there it is, our first look at costumed characters.
It's of what appears to be 2 Fire Nation soldiers, and in the background you can see ice-blocks from what we assume are parts of the Southern Water Tribe set.

TL : DR Version: They have bars, Pizza places and Thai restraunts in Greenland, ironically they dont have salads. Frank seems to be fan of Lance Armstrong. Fun activities included going to the sled dog race, drinking at the bars, jamming with Jackson, watching Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc. Multiple blizzards with temps reaching -20s at night. Shot sunrises, sunsets, at a glacier, and at a village for the movie. Also eat Whale Sashimi.

Our luck holds as the sun is out this morning. Sent "B" camera early to get the sunrise. Zuko's Lounge was rockin' last night...
Dogsled racing madness this morning...
Sleds are off and racing! 40 sledges, 400 dogs, going to the finish line after lunch...
Fantastic day! Finished with beautiful sunset shots for opening of the movie...

Greenland daylight savings time moves us an hour closer to getting home..
"Murphy's", the local bar in town, was like a Fellini movie last night...
Last supper at the Ice Fjord Hotel, not used to all the business, took 2 hours, missed both BBall games...

Weather good, Canadian air traffic problem, charter will be late. Good news for those suffering this morning after Greenland wrap party...

Actress Seychelle Gabriel has it posted on her IMDB resume as having the role of Princess Yue.
This information is still technically rumor but I would expect official confirmation soon. She fits the profile of the type of actors that have joined on the project so far and even looks like Yue if you ignore the hair which will certainly have to be dyed.

She really does look like Yue, apart from the hair, obviously. I'm sure that she will play the role well if she has good acting skills too.
