MTV Movie Award nominations has been announced today, Slumdog Millionaire and Twilight lead nominations. Dev Patel has recieved 2 nominations, Breakthrough Male Performance and Best Kiss (with Freida Pinto). Does anyone think it will be a battle over Slumdog Millionaire and Twilight for Best Movie? |

It was. Slumdog was amazing, and Twilight was just terrible, it just wasn't a very good adaptation in my opinion.

Wonder if they're gonna use the same guy who voiced Appa and Momo in the show. |

Yeah, that would be great.
Today Frank Marshall went to see James Newton Howard record the music to be used for the June teaser trailer. It was done today with a full orchestra presumably in LA.
Cant wait to see (and hear) the teaser trailer.

I pray that they decide to employ music from the animated series in the trailer. The music does not have to an exact replica, but something similar to the opening theme would be desirable. |

I thought a teaser trailer was a bit shorter, though- like 30 seconds. But this is of course even better, we should get to see some good scenes.
Teasers can be very very short or almost as long as a regular trailer. As long as the trailer doesn't reveal too much of the plot it can be considered a trailer. 100 seconds is actually short compared to the 2 and half minute trailers that have been released recently.
Because they wont quite have finished filming by then I doubt there will be many special effects. If there are any scenes it will probably be dialouge not action.
