personally, i like the idea of the cynic starting to like someone. like "oh, I'm too good for anyone...oh crap I think I like her!" teach him how to care about someone.

also, I think Noah/Heather could bond by being cynical insulters. but...this is just my imagination. either way, thank God for fanfics!

I think some people take the Cody/Noah thing too seriously. It's a children's show, yes, but if Noah were in fact "ambiguous," I don't think that it would be too embarassing to show it on TV.

As for Noah/Heather, I seriously doubt it, even though I'd like to see them yelling at each other about whether Lindsay is "dumb" or "stupid."

LOL! that would be amusing! not that that would be a very intelligent debate, but one reason why I like N/H is potential for an intelligent debate.

I thought Trent at least would be in it.
R.I.P. Gwen and Trent. Until they get back together.

For some reason, this is what makes me think there's going to be a TDDDA. TDDDI filled in some plot holes (Heather's final fall, Duncan and Courtney's relationship sparking again, Ezekiel's semi-redemption)... So there's a chance that Gwen and Trent MAY get back together.

Plus, we need a TDDDA so we'll know WHY the character's are coming back are coming back. Is Duncan going to get the money stripped from him? Are they going to look all over the film-lot (or Wawanakwa) for another million dollar case? Why is Alejandro and Sierra here? So many questions that needs answered, hopefully in TDDDA form.

I agree with SS4Ed. But TDDDDI aired the week after the finale of TDI, and TDDDDA hasn't. Plus I haven't heard anything about them planning TDDDDA. Has anyone heard any info on TDDDDA?

Correction: TDDDDI aired many months after the finale of TDI previewed. The entire series had already been shown in Canada before CN even started. I don't know exactly how much time it took to get from the Teletoon TDI finale to the TDDDDI special, but I think it might have been over a year.

Of course, since the Canadians started TDA in January, we might see the TDA special somewhere in the start of fall if the premiers follow a similar time gap.

By the way, I know of a few more questions that I want answered in TDDDDA. Is Owen going to stay a bad guy? Is Duncan's relationship with Courtney going to go down in flames...again? Will Heather and LeShawna's new friendship survive the pressures of competition? Has Beth's partnership with Brady been damaged because she started going after another guy? Speaking of which, what the heck is going on with Harold? In his eyes, three girls like him; one wants to stay away from a relationship, another is downright nasty, and the last has a boyfriend. While part of me is wondering how the heck this happened with possibly the nerdiest guy on the show, I think that this love...quadrangle...might have been the setup for a huge cat-fight.

And not only the existing relationships, but also how things are going to play out in the third season: how did the four guys get back in when Chris specifically said if you don't make it to TDA you won't win money? How are Alejandro and Sierra chosen and introduced (I have a strong feeling we'll wait for the first episode of TDM to see that)? Why is it that Geoff, Eva, Katie and Sadie, Trent, Beth, and Justin aren't in the season at all/doing an aftermath or news thing?

I have a feeling that they are "starting over." And by starting over, I mean offering more money and letting new contestants in. So Duncan probably kept the money, spent it, and is now competing in TDM for even more money. I just have that weird feeling; but of coarse, it's just my prediction. If my prediction is true, then there might not even be a TDDDA. It seems logical to me; Chris would let the people who were unable to compete in TDA, such as Noah, compete in TDM as well. Is this a good prediction? (And by the way, I live in the USA. TDDDI aired a day or a week after the TDI finale for me...)

I don't think Heather likes him, he just thinks she does. I don't really see her involved in a cat-fight over him.

oh and duncan is confirmed to lose all his money. same was going to happen to beth, who was originally intended to win. a bad guy can't win. and even if duncan has a soft side he's stupid enough to share the money with courtney which is a big fat no-no.

. As for those of you out there who believe Noah is gay well...are they really going to make an outright gay couple on a children's show? One, they'll probably lose a good chunk of their audience immediately due to parental interference. Two, the show might gain a bad rep and prevent many new viewers from coming in. And three, homophobes. Yes, the show can subtly hint that Noah is gay but he's not going to openly hook up with a guy while the target audience is 9-14.

Perhaps if the show hadn't been picked up by Cartoon Network they might have. 6teen has had several instances of gay subtext between Jude and Jonesy, including Jude kissing Jonesy, the cowboy seen in a few early episodes turned out to be gay and tried to buy a date with Jonesy, and a guy Caitlin was interested in was literally described as playing for the other team. Not to mention that the series Braceface had a recurring gay character, Dion, in later episodes. So it's not unreasonable to assume Teletoon would have seriously considered letting them have a pair of gay characters dating.

To be honest, I'm just fine with subtext, especially since they hand out a large amount of stereotypes for Noah (that these people don't seem to pick up on, but oh well). Do you even realize how much the conflict or friendship of Duncan/Harold can be seen in a totally different light if you think about it like that? And that's without being obvious about it in the slightest, which is NOT the case with Noah.

Also, simple logic problem, really: Noah is popular for being token ambiguous. He is brought back because he is popular. The show gets higher ratings for having popular characters stay well liked by the people that like them. He hooks up with Heather, or Izzy, nobody likes him anymore.

I just thought of something! Total Drama Island had a TDI Rundown, and Total Drama Action had a TDA Aftermath!

So I think that Total Drama the Musical will have...

    TDM CURTAIN CALL!

Also, since when was a TDDDDDA confirmed?

I was hoping that shortly after the New Year started, they'd release more info on TDM. But so far, I haven't found anything. Has anyone found anything new?

I'll like him all the more if he hooks up with Heather, as well other Heather/Noah fans. And Noah's awesomeness is his sarcastic jerkiness

The fact that they both have negative personalities is the only reason you're hooking them up together. Even Noah and Cody has had more basis in canon than that. They're also not on the same team for TDM, don't like each other too much (Dodgebrawl and Haute Camp-ture), haven't even INTERACTED much to justify a getting together, plus the idea of setting up 12 couples of all TD people is both unrealistic and a bad idea.

Actually, a lot of the couples broke up; leaving more room for a new couple to blossom. Possibly Noah and Heather, possibly Sierra and Cody.
