Maybe this season, two of the same gender may be in the final 2!

I'm thinking Izzy and Bridgette?

The thing about Lindsay is that she got pretty far in both seasons. 9th in TDI and 6th in TDA.

My predictions have changed.

The final 8 in no order:

Bridgette

Noah

Gwen

Cody

Izzy

Alejandro

DJ/Tyler

Sierra

In my opinion concerning Noah, he'll probably be gone about the same time Lindsay was in TDA (sixth place or so), if not earlier. It is possible that he makes it further, thanks to his popularity, but even though he's my favorite character, I don't want him to win. Two males have already won, and a third would just make us Total Drama fans look like Ezekiel in season one. (No offense, Ezekiel fans).

But, if I had to guess on the final 8? This is what it would be.

Cody- A given, in my opinion. He's seen a LOT during the trailer and in the flip-book presenter. A huge fan favorite.

Sierra- A newbie who needs characterization. All we have on her so far is she's a fangirl and that she likes Cody apparently.

Alejandro- Villain. Obviously has to make it at least to the final four.

Izzy/Heather- I could see either one of these two making it to the final 8. Izzy's an obvious comic relief character (plus, isn't Jennifer Pertsch like a HUGE Izzy fan?), and it looks like Heather may be moving back to secure her rightful place as Villain.

DJ/Tyler- In my opinion, these two NEED more characterization. You may say, "Okay, we get Tyler, but DJ doesn't need anymore." All we have on DJ is he had Bunny (never appeared in TDA. Seriously, what happened to the little guy?), scared of most things, had an alliance with Chef in TDA, and quit because of guilt. We really don't have much on him. And Tyler is self-explanatory. He's a jock who's not so good at sports, and he's scared of chickens. We need some characterization on him. A LOT of it.

Bridgette/Gwen- They're away from their pairings. Bridgette won't be making out all the time (unless she breaks up with Geoff and hooks up with Alejandro, which seems unlikely in my opinion), and Gwen will get a chance to redeem herself. The only thing that makes me think that Bridgette may leave early? You can sing when you have your tongue stuck to a frozen pole, so I expect her eliminated by not singing in the Yukon episode. Unless someone/something saves her from that, she'll make it far.

Noah- VERY self explanatory. A huge fan favorite. Will most likely at least make it to the merge. Just... If you get him to like the final 5, don't make him a Gary-Stu. Please. I'm begging. Noah's a cynical, sarcastic know-it-all. Not a "Hey! I'm becoming nicer!" type guy.

Lindsay- I do not know why, but I could see her making it to the final 8 again this season. Probably for the same reason as Izzy though. (Comic relief, unless she gets a better plot with Bridgette and Alejandro, then that will be different.)

But, what I keep wondering is, why is Alejandro flirting with two girls who isn't even on his team? I thought that Alejandro was with Tyler, Izzy, Owen, and Noah? Unless he's trying to find a way to make the two throw challenges... Hmm... Time will tell.

On another note, Cartoonnetwork's Total Drama Action facebook page did mention the third season like, "Will this new year bring a new season of Total Drama?" This makes me think, "is the TDA special (if there is one) going to be in January/February and the next season in Spring/Summer?"
