    you obviously don't know about Soap shows then, or SNL, all those shows started along time ago and are still going on today, so no shows can last forever

    According to the ratings, maybe SpongeBob will have 17 seasons and will end on 2021.

    Actully its 12 seasons and will end on 2016.

    A great way for the series to end would be for Spongebob to graduate from Mrs. Puff's Boating School and finally get his license.

    All the commercial products, and considering they air Spongebob a couple hours per day, I'd say there is no chance of this show backing down til at least 2015.

    I think SpongeBob will get at least ten seasons, considering the fact that it's really Nickelodeon's only major money maker at this point, excluding iCarly and Dora. Unless T.U.F.F. Puppy or Planet Sheen can override its popularity (which I doubt, especially Planet Sheen), it's gonna continue for a long, long time.
