    In a way, that's kind of true. I was also one of those people who wanted the show to be brought back for another season once I found out that the show did get canceled. However, once the show actually did get brought back for a 4th season, I was really disappointed. These days, I regret demanding Spongebob to get brought back. Now, I think the show has gotten unwatchable.



    Though, to be fair, I still give Spongebob credit for being one of the last good Nicktoons to remain on Nickelodeon, even if it has gotten bad. After all, once Nickelodeon finally does take it off the air, it'd be nothing but iCarly and True Jackson left.

    Yeah, but even a show like Rugrats, which lasted for 15 years, has become obsolete in the reruns, both on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Network.

    After reading the weekly SpongeBob ratings, I estimated that the show will last 14 seasons until 2018.

    I think it will last many more years, as long as it keeps up the ratings! I would say 2015 is a pretty good guess.

    BUT, what are the chances that it will hit it's 20 years anniversary? That would be an interesting challenge if I do say so myself.

    I think it should have ended a while ago.

    I predict Nick will squeeze all the cash out of it they can, so we may see it reach 20 years.

    I read the ratings again, so I think it will have 21 seasons and will last until 2025.
