Nickelodeon (ended 2012)
This is what I sent to Maggie Wang and Adriana Lemus at Nickelodeon. If I don't get a response I can try some other people as well About 2 1/2 years ago, the Dan told the fans of iCarly that he was working a new opening for the show. Forwhatever reason Press releases started coming out saying that iCarly was in its third season. So, Ffns kept asking Dan and he wrote... this blog http://danwarp.blogspot.com/2009/09/icarly-second-season-third-season-huh.html. So all the sites when with that you split season 2 from the 45 episodes that were ordered. In April 2011, Nick said the show was renewed for a fifth season. At the time we though you ment the 5th production season for the show. In september a new promo came out saying that the show was having a new season. We know that iCarly was renewed for 26 episodes in 2010. Most sites now are saying that you are aring the 4th season of iCarly. Tvguide has it as season 4 as some other sites and as well the DVDs. Some sites have it as the show is in season 5 and air season 6 this year. So what airing season are we really in. We have been trying to contact Dan to see if he could do another blog about this and a production code update for the episodes. If you can could you do a press release on what season were in right now or something. This would be alot of help. Also if you can get Dan's attention to this again as well. Below, I put some of the sites that are giving people trouble on what season were in and how people are handling it. That would be great if you can do this. Thanks I provided Links that were on here and a fewother sites. I also included what the production line ups
Got a reply but had to send the samething to her.

It makes sense if she's referring to the production cycle. We need to know if the broadcast cycle happen to exist. How can I contact these Nick people? |
I just wrote to one of them by the name of Marianne Romano. I wanted to write to some one else instead of the same person you wrote to. I told her to mention something about the broadcast cycle if one truly exists so we can have a confirmation that the second season production was in fact to form a broadcast third season as we've been believing to be for the past two-and-half years. But then later I interestedly came across this from the Nickelodeon press page for "iCarly" on this link here:
http://biz.viacom.com/sites/nickelodeonpress/NICKELODEON/Pages/showsdetails.aspx?NewId=6&ShowName=iCarly
Now of course, they can go by the production cycle regarding the seasons if a broadcast one truly exist. But then I scrolled down to the "Consumer Products Press Release" section where it says something from May 2011 about the release of the "iHeart iCarly Collection" that was to be released on July 19, 2011 that includes specials a favorite episodes from Seasons 2 and 3. Now, take a good look at the episodes listed here:
iSpace Out, iWas a Pageant Girl, iEnrage Gibby, iFix a Popstar, iWon't Cancel the Show, iBelieve in Bigfoot, iSaved Your Life, iQuit iCarly, iThink They Kissed, iTwins, iMove Out, iFight Shlby Marx, iDate a Bad Boy, iLook Alike, iCarly Awards.
Now it seems to me that the "Season 3" episodes listed here are from that of the apparent broadcast marketing season that we've been aware of after all this time that the Nick press has listed on their site. Hmm, I can't wait to show this to Mr. Brogers to see how he responds to this.
