i am actually kinda pissed off at dan for telling all of us fans that this freakin show isnt about the relationships then he goes and pulls this crap. wtf ever. i hate the games. i just want him to give it to us straight. i honestly dont care about the whole seddie thing...that aint ticking me off. the fact that he made a whole ep about how we fight so much and how we should just watch the show for comedy and then doing this to work everyone up is bull crap. just sayin. i honestly think he did it for more ratings. he notice how every major shipping episode shot up the ratings so he wanted more. i have my own opinions, u can call me out if u want, but this is what im basing my thoughts off of.

Its not. The comedy of them trying to hook up Sam and Brad is what DROVE this episode.

I disagree because the title iOMG suggested something big was going to happen, from the promo's it was clearly about relationships.

Yeah but I think in the fanwar episode, it may not have been so much Dan saying the SHOW ITSELF was supposed to be about comedy and whatnot, rather the WEBSHOW was not about relationships.

You have to consider, this is the iCarly world. The Seddie/Creddie fans in that episode have NO IDEA what the gang is about or like outside of their webcasts, like we do. All they see is what we would see if we go to iCarly.com

So I'm almost certain that they were talking about the webcast to their fans in that episode, rather we all know that the show itself is about more than just comedy, it also deals with other dramatic stuff, such as relationships.

So I think everyone's taking the fanwar a bit out of context and analyzing that episode a bit too much. That's just my two cents.

I would agree but Dan was also speaking to viewers in the real world. Nothing has happened on the web show where shipping would have to be addressed, within the iCarlyverse IMO. If I look at iSAFW from just the people in the iCarlyverse then the episode is even more dumb.

I rewatched this again a third time, and the more and more I watch that final scene the more and more I like Freddie's part in it, not just the sincere speech part but the reflection of Sam's anger that comes out on him, the frustration in his voice when he tells Sam that Carly's right, the confidence in which he gives the "you hate me" part of the speech, the sudden change from standing up for himself in just as harsh a voice as Sam used to threaten him to the really soft voice that gives Sam the advice and courage to make the move, Sam might have finished off that scene but Freddie absolutely made it.

I'm kind of disappointed they cut out the "You act like you're such a tough girl when you're really just scared" part. I was kind of looking forward to that.

After rewatching this episode I really, really loved Carly in this. Carly and Spencer freaking killed me. I think I was in tears during the horse scene, and watching Spencer in a box is way more amusing htan I thought it would be.

IA with CanadaMichael. They make it obvious it is addressed towards us, the viewers in real life. It would be more pointless if it was just towards the people in the iCarlyverse who watch their webshow. @pscf3: The four times I watched it Carly has never said that. Unless you're saying "They never did" to something else?? @Katephil: Exactly. Sometimes people forget we're all fans of iCarly and we all enjoy the show for some reason. I don't mind if others stop watching the show if it doesn't go the way they hoped to, but I personally will because so far I still love the comedy he puts out. At first I thought it was going downhill circa iDo/iSAFW, but after watching iPTN I think this season is one of the better ones, the only reason I didn't like it was the dry spells in between episodes. Even though I love Seddie, I don't really hate Creddie. I loved iSYL, I truly did. Assuming the outcome would go either Creddie or Seddie, I'd probably like the relationship aspect too. Dan did a great job of building up the friendships between the 3 and both ships seem really believable to me.

I wonder what Carly eating a carrot with whipcream meant? That scene is fighting for best scene.

Have to agree with Spencer, it was a little freaky with Gibby's, "it wears the blindfold, if it wants to be fed". LOL. Great line!

there was a lot to this episode that was good. Has Freddie been working out?

I've downloaded the episode just so I could watch it again and again . I don't know if it's the same for you guys but everytime I watch re-runs of iCarly now, when I see Sam I think "Haha, I know you secretly LOVE Freddie!!!"

For the part 2 of iOMG, I really do hope that Freddie DOESN'T just make a decision. Like most of you guys, I wish he just says something along the lines of "I need to think about this..." And the rest of the following episodes will be a build up. Although I wouldn't want the very last episodes [As in the last of iCarly EVER] to be where Freddie makes his decision. I mean IF he gets together with Sam [hopefully] I'd wanna watch how they'd interact with each other. I really enjoy the structure of a relationship like theirs. It's more interesting for me. IF he ends up with Carly [I don't mind, I still love iCarly anyway] I guess the Creddie fans would like to see that too? o.O I mean I'd be sad but at least there's still iCarly.

I don't know when iCarly will end but I really hope that Season 5 ISN'T the last season. I think there's WAY TOO many things that should happen before it ends. I doubt those things would fit in one season. I've always watched this show for the comedy [I don'tmind the relationship aspect though] and if the ship goes one way or the other I'd still watch it.

For the people still mad at Dan because of iSAFW, WE shouldnt be mad at Dan when he's fooled us in to thinking one thing then we find out it's the other. It's his job and that's a way to keep us interested. I LOVE all his work andI think we ALL do. We should just appreciate that he's created something amazing that was a part of our life.

Some people hated the ending of iOMG because they thought it was so sudden or a lot of things were left unsaid. I reckon it was perfect. I've always found Sam impulsive and physical. So when she's overwhelmed with all these questions and feelings that she's bottled up, she seems like the person who would just suddenly take action without thinking. Freddies reaction was just too funny. The short dialogue "Sorry." "S'cool" was the best thing you could've said in that moment. And I really do think it's better that it's left unsaid. It's because I want the aftermath and Freddie's reaction to be a whole episode [Or multiple episodes] rather than the last few minutes of the show. In that moment he could've ran away, say he likes her or ask her what the hell she just did. But that would've been TERRIBLE. So shock and confusion without too many words really the best way to go.

I really want to see Carly's reaction first though. I hope it's something like her spazzing and freaking out then her getting a little annoyed because Sam never told her, her feelings for Freddie. Then maybe plan a little revenge just to get back [But in a playful note]. Haha maybe she'll get Freddie and Sam to go to a barn... LOL Anyway, Carly might question her feelings for Freddie after seeing Sam and Freddie (If she HAS feelings for him) And I'd rather have that confronted first off rather than making us wonder if she did or didn't have feelings for Freddie AND if she's going to do anything about it.

Anyway that's just opinion towards all of this xD

Just adding my $0.02 - WOW Cool

I had forgotten that a new episode had come out till today. I watched iPitythenevel yesterday and thought it was great that it was "just another iCarly episode". I remember reading something in the official seddie thread a while back that iOMG was something ship related, but Dan being Dan, I just chose to forget about it.

The kiss in iKiss was very tender. The kiss in iOMG was like a bottle of pent up emotions bursting on an unsuspecting Freddie (do what you want with that metaphor). I pretty much knew what was going to happen when Sam and Brad[?] were left alone and looked at each other like "ummm ok".

That being said, it seems to me at least, that this was the most realistic way for Sam and Freddie to hook up, if they do. It fits her personality type well - spontaneous action, but born out of a lot of thinking. I'm no psychologist, but I'm pretty good at figuring people out, even if they're characters in a show. Plus, being the "Grandfather" around here, I've seen similar things happen before over the years, just without the laugh track Wink.

BTW - Hi everyone. Been busy with school and medical stuff. School lets out in less than a month though, so once finals are done, I have the summer to relax.... and post! Laughing

Dan said in the fun facts that the carrot means absolutely nothing. He knows someone that eats carrots with whip cream and decided to have Carly eat it. He also finds it funnier making it like an everyday thing by not having Spencer react to it.

The line Gibby is saying is a parody of the famous line from "Silence of the Lambs." Not something kids should be watching, so the line is a bit of parental bonus for the older fans. The original lines was "It puts the lotion on it's skin, or it gets the hose."

Nathan has been working out for a while. It mostly started showing during Season 3, I think. It was lampshaded in iThink They Kissed when Freddie was able to flip over and overpower Carly during a scuffle.

I'm curious how Freddie and Sam are going to inform Carly. Even if it's something they decide to put on hold while Freddie adjusts to the development, he's still going to think he has to tell Carly something to stop her from trying to hook Sam up with Brad anymore. Discussing how or when to tell Carly would be a good callback to the ending of iThink They Kissed. I imagine that iReact will resolve the question from iOMG, and the ending of that episode will return them to status quo.

It could be they say nothing & Carly finally tells them she saw them kiss. They could also have the next episode FF to weeks after the kiss & mention at some point that they talked, & decided it wouldn't work between them. Whatever happens I don't see anything long term for Seddie, there are too many episodes left till the end of the series. If Seddie happened the whole interaction between Sam & Freddie would change & I don't see that happening. I think Sam would have to act more like her sister did towards him, OK for maybe a episode or two but a whole season no way.

Agreed. I've shipped everything now, from Creddie to Spam to Seddie, and whatever does end up canon (not just the endgame ship, but all of them) I'll be ok with, so long as it's justified with development.

Can I just add to this that I think it's adorable the WAY that Sam kissed him, because it was very, well, Sam. Instead of grabbing his face or neck, like most spontaneous kissers usually do on tv, all gentle and tender, she grabs his shoulders and goes at him. Even when kissing him she's man-handling him, LOL! Or maybe it was just a stage direction with no meaning behind it, but I liked it.

Just saw it online and thought it was excellent. I at first thought those promos were misleading us into thinking Sam was gonna choose Freddie over Brad (like they usually do)
But to my surprise, they were completely accurate! Sam did just that (though for all we know, Sam couldn't liked Freddie from the start) I totally didn't see that kiss coming. Now I'm glad I actually avoided reading spoilers.
I loved this episode even though I'm one of the few who watch this show and don't ship anybody.

Oops, I might have written that poorly. I meant that I've been busy with school and personal medical issues, i.e.:I've been alternating b/t going to school and seeing specialists.

I do find medicine interesting, and I do a lot of reading, I just don't have the money/time/dedication to do it for a living. I've had many a doctor remark to me that they've never seen a patient that was so well-informed. One of my models in life outside of my parents, is Leonardo da Vinci, because he was a self-learner and studied anything he was interested in.

That's great that you're going to go into medicine though. Doctor's and other medical professionals have the ability to really make a difference. Smile

    -Back on topic-

I'm curious as to how they're going to have Carly react to all of this. She kept rebuffing Freddie (save for iSYL) throughout the series, and now she sees her two best friends kiss (as opposed to hearing about it after the fact ala iTTK). Does this make her rethink her feelings about Freddie? Will she be supportive? All the ways this can go, as a writer, intrigues me as to how I would write it and all the ways I could direct it. As a laymen who loves Psychology, it's even more intriguing how other people's lives can affect our own.

I think that they're going to become a couple, but Sam is still gonna have that "aggresive" side to her with Freddie. kind of "playful-like"
