Yes, she killed Aang. The spirit oasis water brought him back when Katara used it to heal him.

Oh, and not all our non-fighting episodes are filler! |

You're obviously new to anime. Besides, the lack of realism makes its standing as fiction stand out better. |

That's never happened in Naruto. Yet another exaggeration. |

And to be frank, we could prabably have another 25 page thread discussing the similarities between Naruto and Avatar. |

New!? Uh, look here n00b I've watched the following Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing (from the beginning), DBZ, Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Eyeshield 21, Beyblade, Vandread, Love Hina, Blood+, Yu-Yu Hakusho, and plenty more. Yeah... don't make yourself look stupid n00b. |
I only really like a few shows. FMA is a favorite of mine. Oh, Ed doesn't wait for his opponents to draw their circle most of the time, he USES his advantage. Although it's not completely free of speeches in fights, they're a lot less unbelievable.
But back to Avatar, I don't like any show with rediculously long monologues.

You have no suspension of disbelief. You can't be fun to go to the movies with. |

This show has the realism to show that one kid, no matter how powerful, will not be able to take down a whole army that's been building for 100 years, see Seige of the North Part 1. And the Firelord has not even been reached by the heroes, Azula had her trap set, they ran into her instead, and she occupied them until the eclipse ended.

Here's a change of pace, how about we hear the Naruto and Bleach people talk about what they DON'T like with their show? I'm not afraid to say what sounds corny, nonsensical, or whatever in Avatar. Are the other fans real enough with themselves to do the same to their beloved shows? |
