But back to Avatar, I don't like any show with rediculously long monologues.

You have no suspension of disbelief. You can't be fun to go to the movies with.
You know, even though I still disagree with a lot of what you've said, I have to say, you're not petty and you're arguments aren't too bad. Much better than the trolls they normally feed us. That said, even though this is a heated debate, did a pointless thread such as this one need to go on to be so long?

It's the Domino Effect. One person says one thing, another person retorts, then a re-retort by someone else and it keeps going on and on and lasts forever...unlike dominos. I guess Cause and Effect would be a better analogy.

Lucky us I can't give an example of a villain attacking during the middle of a speech, because in Avatar there aren't speeched that long

Not to mention the fact that it doesn't take a SEASON to kill one enemy in ONE fight.

Oh, and not all our non-fighting episodes are filler!

It took you guys 3 season to kill the Firelord, and most of the Fire Nation Army. But ya it's still up and running as if Aang didn't attack at all.
It's kind of what the whole show is about. And they did attack, and they failed. You obviously ignored Day of Black Sun.
He said "as if" yes Aang attacked but he didn't really get much done.

His mindless, macho posturing is relevant to the plot? Some plot.

I have suspension of disbelief. When in fiction, I accept the world in it and whatever goes with that. I do not enjoy when it's set in the world that people can make explosions with a few hand signs, then monologue for two minutes without being struck. It's one thing to make an intimidating speech to the enemy before the fight or while both are panting and trying to rest. It's another to make an intimidating speech to the enemy during a pause that has no explanation besides the speech.

At least their is a set time limit so we know when the series will end whereas Naruto will end whenever the creator feels like ending it.

I don't like unnecessary flashbacks. There's some other things, but I need to think on what they are.

Personally I don't like friendship speeches and fillers. What about you?
One of the points of Avatar is friendship, and since you don't like fillers you don't like the majority of Naruto.

That made no sense. Naruto isn't the macho type. He's the type who does anything for those he cares about. Also, it does have relevance. You just need to understand the plot first.

Anyway, I'm not gonna tell you what to do.

Both Avatar and Naruto use flashbacks. Both shows are pretty even in that category.

Naruto: the friendship speeches, sasuke, orochimaru, and the worst thing ever created the 160 episodes of filler we call "hell"

    Bleach: aizen and fillers

now what about what you hate about avatar?

I think we should discuss our own show's flaws now, it's a good idea I really hate some of Iroh's humor, which despite being 'purposefully unfunny' humor you don't laugh at ANY part of it because it's just a sad attempt. of course some of Iroh's stuff is funny.

WHAT IS VERY FUNNY is Zuko's impersonations =3 But one of them is pretty corny.

"The Great Divide" the ultimate low point in an awesome show. If I'm showing every episode of season 1 to someone, I skip that one. Also, seasons 1's pacing. It really chugs along early. But, I can forgive it because the guys working on the show were finding their legs. A few early episodes were great, but some drug on. "Warriors of Kyoshi", "The King of Omashu", and even "The Waterbending Scroll" had this *meh* feel even though all of them have important characters that appear later.

Naruto only had 85 episodes of filler.

Anyways, I hated unnecessary flashbacks, Orochimaru's insanity, the girls being relatively weak.
