Many people have a disbelief of there being more than four elements, and they are the traditional, classical and more known elements... I think they were just trying to be realistic.

Keep it going guys, this is great!

    *Confused* What's Aether?
It is virtually another word for Quintessence... It was mentioned earlier in this pole... I personally do not believe in it but that's just me.

Oh I see... Yeah, sorry about that, I'm not really used to making threads (I'M NOT DUMB...)... If you leave it be it won't be a popular thread anymore.

Personally I think that would relate more to Waterbending (Healing)... I know they have different ways of making life, but if it was ever to be put in one of the elements, it would probably be Water... Being honest, it probably doesn't exist (and I hate science lol ).

I'd love to see fire give a weak family shelter from the cold rain and the bitter wind.

The cold, harsh wind would blow out the fire, anyway. That's why Zuko had to find shelter because his fire wouldn't have lasted a second in that condition. Earthbending will give you that shelter which will help trap heat to create warmth and block out the wind.

true, but your still surrounded by cold ice. Once you find a shelter, fire will keep you warm.

Ah, but what if there is none? Earth will get you at least halfway there. Zuko was incredibly lucky to find a shelter. Most people aren't so lucky. Bending a shelter will keep you alive long enough to find a way out. Firebending will only help in more serene conditions.
