What are you expecting?

    I know it's a bit early, but I've already discussed this topic a bit with some of the other members. What are your expectations? Mine are:

    1. The cast for the LA movie

    2. The confirmation that the mini-episodes and the poster was legitimate.

    3. The announcement of the new series.

    I know, I know, the new series isn't going to come out until AFTER the movies. But I just think it was hinted too much that Bryke was already working on a series. So, anyway, what do you think will happen?

    idk if they actually cast it yet. I hope the mini series is real. A new series would be awsome but I really wish it was with the origional characters. I'm not ready to let go yet!

    I expect information regarding the confirmation or denial of mini-episodes/hour-long movies. They will probably devote substantial time to the movie. Oh, I imagine someone will ask about Ursa.

    There will definitely be something about the mini-series. Even if it is nothing but a rumor, by now the number of emails Bryke have recieved enquiring after it must be in the thousands. They have to say something about it.

    Another thing that I think will be shown (and should go in the poll) is Ursa. If they don't answer the question of her whereabouts, they must at the very least tell us if they are going to be answering her question, and how. It was the biggest question remaining at the end of the series, and they have promised to answer it somehow.

    At the recent SDCC panel they said that they hope to find a way to resolve that issue. The director said he actually storyboarded the reunion (not animated though) but Bryan/Mike decided to cancel it. Whether or not that means the storyboards were scrapped or merely the showing of it in the finale is unknown but I think we're going to hear something about her. I mean, it's not like they could've wrapped up something like that in a few minutes; she affected too much and was shrouded in mystery.

    Or they won't but there's no way they'd be that evil... *cough, "Where's my mother?" -end of show-*

    Ursa was added to the poll But they have already casted the main roles, I believe. Some user named MandaPanda emailed the casting committee and they said that roles for the main characters other than Aang are already casted. Or something along those lines.

    Probably because Im kind of indifferent to the thought of a new series... A series in the past would feel boring and a future story would feel like it was basically recycling Aang's. To clear up my past series statement I think a mini-series would be good for a past avatar, but an entire series I dont think I could stomach.

    "Zuko reunion with mom" and "Suki arm wrestling with June" were 2 scenes that were "cut" from the storyboard of the finale, don't know if there were other storyboards cut off

    NICE! I've got a companion. I don't know, I've just got this feeling that they'll announce it. I mean, in Sozin's Comet they said that they were already slightly kinda working on one. They've been hinting around a lot recently. I think that if they're going to keep Avatar fans interested they've got to release the new idea of a series NOW. Two years is way too long for most Avatar fans.
